Woking Community Hospital reviews

Referred by my Dr for an X Ray dept rang me within 2 hours. Appointment booked for same week. Staff were excellent very professional service In and out within twenty minutes.

Facilities seemed good, but the disabled parking was a bit of a faff. The card reader by the exit wouldn’t accept my Blue badge barcode initially, it took several goes to get there, but it worked eventually. A couple of others were struggling as well.

Worst car parking facilities I’ve ever experienced at an NHS location. Not enough spaces, cars double parked, driveways too narrow. It was full up and I couldn’t get out for all the cars coming in behind and others stopping the middle of the road in case a space came free. Stressful and dangerous.

Had online referral from GP with same day appointment. Arrived early, seen early and brilliant service. Prescription sent straight away to my local chemist.
The service I used was an extension to the local GP service. Thank you NHS

Social distanced and seemed very empty. Paid car parking now (gives you 15 mins free for drop off). Have to wait in your car until called for your appointment, which is better than sitting in a crowded waiting room. All in all very slick and a credit to the NHS staff working there.

Poor Service for Woking Community hospital x Ray department.
No help available to disabled patients to get ready for there X ray, no grab rails in the changing rooms for disabled people.
Totally unacceptable service to disabled people.

Bedser Phlebotomy Nurse is an expert blood taker. Quick and relatively painless. In & out in under 15 minutes twice so no parking charges. Thank you.

Seems a very clean caring hospital.

Went there couple of years ago put dirty tweezers in with half pack of clean dressings and was told to bring back following day to use for next change. Dressing fell out 12 hours later. Need to have done again after repeat operation but will not go there

I wanted to thank the lovely lady on reception in the X-ray department yesterday late morning. Thank you for your kindness and consideration when i brought my Mum in for an X-ray.

Diabetic eye screening and mammogram service both at this hospital both staffed by lovely people, always on time can’t fault them. Easy parking too.

Walk in can be really bad wait times but not at lunchtime during the week it seems , was seen fast by knowledgeable team.

Perfect example of the urgent need for more nhs privatisation. Should give free dvt advice on arrival to prep you for the waiting room. Excellent place to learn a foreign language or study for a degree.

I was seen by Dr Verna who was excellent also his nurse who reassured me when having my biopsy. He explained everything so that I understood what was going on. Thank you.

Went to the dental dept at the community hospital last sunday after suffering toothache the previous day and i have to say they were so good and now pain free

Had an appointment for 11:15am and had to wait for almost 2 hours. I was basically the last to be seen. Very poor

Lovely place to work with good patients care too.

Rude staffs

Gone down hill. There are now more services that they dont offer rather than services they do.

I was well looked after. Highly recommended.
