Accrington Victoria Hospital reviews

I went to Accrington Minor Injuries Unit yesterday. I was given an appointment very promptly and when I returned I was seen very quickly, was given an X-ray and a diagnosis. The reception staff, radiographer and the physiotherapist were all extremely kind and efficient. Well done and thank you.

Waiting time minimal, staff caring and professional, so much better than a large hospital. For example was asked if I wanted a glass of water, never been offered this at a larger hospital when only going for an appointment

Not a minor injury unit if you need an appointment. I’d suggest you don’t get injured if you need help or have a pre booked appointment.

Staff are amazing. They are lovely and so efficient too. We were seen so fast and my daughters burnt hand was treated almost immediately. So grateful. Every time we visit they are so good.

Absolutely shocking if I’ve rang once I’ve rang 50 times with no answer phone just being put down wouldn’t mind if I needed them but it’s for my 7 year old daughter the place is a shambles now

From booking in to being seen and treated was just under an hour the nursing staff was excellent cannot fault them

Great little hospital, Slowly but surely services have been moved away from this site. People of Accrington must organise and form a pressure comittee in order to keep this hospital open.

Went in with sprained (possibly broken) ankle, was only there in total an hour and a half – including xrays and treatment, staff were brilliant and friendly – could not have asked for better treatment – would highly recommend to anyone

Waste of time only to be told no doctor, go to blackburn. The nurse comes out to get rid off you. Complet waste of nhs money

Sadly i had to visit because i had fallen on my arm.Turns out i had fractured it.From the moment i walked into the reception to coming out with my arm in plaster i was very well looked after.The staff were Brilliant.Thank you .

Sometimes there is a long waiting time but I think that is because they are
understaffed and quite busy, the staff are always pleasant and they deal with whatever you go there for in an appropriate manner.

absolutely shocking walked out after 2 hours of not being seen walked into minor injuries reception and all nurses were sat there having a brew and not bothering seeing anybody!!

They’re always there for us when anyone in my family really needs them. I appreciate them to the bottom of my heart

The walk in clinic is no longer open. There is a mi or injuries clinic but not walk in clinic for gp appointment
