I don’t like this hospital. They still try and insist people wear face masks even though its not a legal requirement, and now they are policing the front door and trying to make you wash your hands for twenty seconds like it’s 2020! …

The receptionist in Elderly Care needs to learn some patient care skills! Turned up at appt at.the wrong time due to a mix-up with another appt & the way my husband was spoken to was disgusting. Very abrupt, no understanding at all.

Told the appointment which had been booked had been cancelled but if we turned up we would be seen straight away. Pushed my mother in her wheelchair 45 minutes to get there only to be told there was a three and. Half hour wait. In other words they LIED.
To be fair the hospital could be the best ever – but when you can’t get in because there’s no parking, who would know? Terrible set up.

My Grandad went into the hospital with a broken leg. He was a very healthy man. Unfortunately, he never managed to get back out of the hospital and died on the 28th of November. He died of COVID, and I can’t even begin to explain the catastrophe inside this place!

My wife fell and hurt her wrist yesterday and after a painful night I rang 111 who directed me to Rake Lane urgent care unit. They gave us an appointment for 9.15 and we were assessed, x rayed and treated within 75 mins. First class service by first class staff. Well done the NHS.

As is often said nurses support staff young medical staff and volunteers give brilliant service but management poor as are some consultants.
Like many others prefer to go to RVI and Freeman. Money spent on new Cramlington hospital was a large waste of money which should have been spent on the other hospitals

An absolute joke of a hospital, loads of car park spaces however 80% of that is staff parking only. If your like me and require a car to get to hospital appointments make sure said appointments are not at this hospital as you will not get parked, I have missed two very important appointments due to this.

my husband has been 5 weeks on ward 15, wonderful staff they really looked after him, we have only 1 negative, the food! not very good think it needs to be looked at.
I work here, and it’s a great place to work as there is a strong emphasis on looking after the workforce. I think this probably creates a more relaxing experience for visiting patients.
