Hi, I have used Avanti travel insurance for a few years now and have always had excellent service. As I am considered elderly (although I don’t feel it) the company have never made this an issue and have insured me no problem. I have no hesitation in recommending them . My wife had a pulmonary embolism in Spain last December, rushed into intensive care, had to extend our stay for 2 weeks, only claimed for canceled flight and new flight home, no extra accommodation or expense. Despite having full medical report and flight costs Avanti didn’t want to know us.
I found the web site easy to use and was happy with my quote. Not being very good on computers I didn’t find printing out the documents as easy, but managed in the end, so all was well.

We had to contact Avanti because we had to change our holiday to another resort! Everything was the same, but the travel company had changed our flight dates, so zo keep the same flight dates, we changed our resort! For that we got an admin charge of £54! A total rip off!!!

Got diagnosed with cancer halfway through my policy and was told that not only would they not cover me but my policy was void.
