Don’t recommend. Terribly slow customer services, ‘lost’ emails, ‘backlogs’ of work they claim to have to go through before they can assist. I’ve moved seven pensions from large providers like Scottish Widows into one pot, others have taken no more than a few weeks to port across- this lot have taken MONTHS! Avoid at all costs.

My workplace pension is provided by this company. The process to transfer my existing pension to them was simple and painless with no issues. On a few occasions I have needed to contact them by phone and e-mail and have always been satisfied with the help / response given!

Hard to get a hold of, and they never keep their word my friend retired in March and asked for a lump sum payout, was told that his employer had not paid the last payment, this was resolved over six weeks ago, they said that they would send a payment, guess what, yes still waiting. I would not get involved with this company at any cost.
I can’t fault B&CE so far, we are an employer and chose to use them for our three companies. If I ever have queries they are easy to get hold of (a bit of a wait on hold but nothing major) and they are always able to answer any questions I have.
To be honest I pay a lot into my pension yet the amount in there seems to be continually decreasing?… also when contacting b and ce by phone there is no ring tone so you spend 20mins on an (engaged tone) maybe in the hope that people will hang up and end the call

Trying to claim your pension is not easy. Telephone is either engaged or you’re put on hold. They dont reply to their internal messaging system nor emails it seems.

Wish I had never heard of this company there is no information on you online account when you phone up everytime they give you a different time scale when your claim will be payed out they keep your money till the last minute it goes down …
they not make refound for private pension less then 1 month, with automatic enrollment. call to the police, everybody! i report this scam!!!
Really difficult to deal with and website never remembers passwords, customer services slow to respond, making a legal compliance requirement longwinded and painful!

DISGRACEFUL THAT MY SISTER WITH A LUNG CONDITION THAT HAS HOSPITILISED HER IN THE PAST IS STILL WORKING WHILST HER LESS VULNERABLE COLLEAGUES ARE WORKING FROM HOME-SHAME ON YOU-LOOKING AFTER PEOPLES PENSIONS!-YOU SHOULD LOOK AFTER YOUR STAFF FIRST!
THEY HAVE MADE A PROLONGED AND VERY STRESSFUL OPT OUT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND WOULD USE WEB FOR EFFICIENT OP OUT. AS TALKING TO THEM IS LONG WINDED TO SAY THE LEAST
