Sadly i have been here quite a lot as i seem to be accident prone. The waiting time is like watching paint dry, it can take several hours. It’s not uncommon to be stuck waiting for 5 hours, just to be seen. …
The care I got last night from the paramedics, doctors nurses even the porter was excellent. I can’t thank them enough, even though they were busy the care and understanding was fantastic and luckily I was allowed home. Thank you to those that looked after me last night 6th January 2023.
The disabled driver couldn’t get parked for an appointment due to no blue badge drivers taking up all the disabled spots. She parked in the empty spot and the Tesla parked over her to stop her getting out or getting her chair in the car. …
The treatment I have received over the last 6 months at the Chatsfield Suite has been outstanding, every member of staff from the bottom up has treated me with kindness, compassion and encouragement. You are an amazing team. Thank you

It has been a while since I have had the unfortunate privilege of visiting my Towns hospital A&E, just one work sums it up “grim” the hospital itself is dated and dirty the A&E department even for a quiet Thursday afternoon is far too small …

3 Hour plus wait to see a doctor!
No digital board to show your position on the waiting list, should have an app in which you can book in then get a notification 30 mins before your appointment. …
What can I say other than organised chaos. I was sent to three different reception desks by hospital staff before we were told that we had been sent to the wrong hospital (even though we had a letter confirming the appointment was at …

I have to make a review about this place. I’ve been here several times it roughly takes 3-4 hours to be seen. Extremely confusing arrival process, no sense of caring. It is quicker to drive to Worksop hospital to be treated, this will be my …

A young mum left her home telling her two young boys ‘mummy will be home soon im off to the hospital’ once again for a headache, just to be declined vital care and killed! Jehane Thomas is her name! RIP

The reception staff on today do not care for any patients theybwould rather chat to them selves behind the counter than help and assist there patients they talk rudly not just to me ive witn3ssed atleast 3 or 4 others if you cant handle the job and be pleasent then you should not work at the hospital its that simple

Certain the best help on offer with men and women that flow within a Spirit of excellence yet please be patient with them as they are ordinary people doing extraordinary jobs through passion & empathy
10 hours waiting to seeing doctor it’s joke paying lots for NHS they services should be better by now they are worse.all booking system it’s waisting lots of time getting to 3 different types of nurse with the same explanation,if thi will be pushed straight to main doctors they can quickly examinate patient.
Nurses and staff have been excellent but it has taken nearly 6 hours to be discharged with no explanation given.
I was in a single room and imagine it would be well sought after by incoming patients. Hopefully it’s not holding up a critical care patient
Very tired hospital. Can’t get through to main reception, ever, and certain departments upon realising that the phone is ringing, take it off the hook. Waiting times for the next step once you have been seen initially are appalling. …
Had an appt today at DRI. I was seen on time and all went very well. From the beginning of the visit through to the end I was treated with care. The lady in reception was friendly and helpful and the nurse who put the cannula in and took …
Was at pre-op dept yesterday and the staff were fantastic, professional, friendly and informative
Put me totally at ease
Been a resident in a few different areas of the UK and without a doubt DRI is one of the best hospital trusts. Great staff from receptionist to consultant level. Always willing to help. Just show some patience in these difficult times to our fabulous NHS staff.
Care from the outpatients blood tests department considering I have a needle phobia was fantastic, thanks to Sarah and Sue! 😊👏 …
What a joke this place is, privatise the lot! Would rather pay and get decent care than this shambles, it’s a cross between the Jeremy Kyle show, loose women and a pantomime
This place is a complete joke! I was told my son was going to be fine and didn’t need any assistance after a bad car crash but when we moved him to northern general at Sheffield they told us he needed a urgent operation and there was …

Chaos, every time when I’m there . No parking spaces at all .. I was driving round for an hour …
Nobody knows what’s happening there . Staff isn’t helpful at all.
I would gave zero stars !
After 4 years of consistent treatment, my care has stalled because of a specialists holiday, despite now some 20 calls to the booking department, a visit to the CEO’s office and assurances from PALS it would be sorted – NO-ONE has returned my calls as promised. Communication seems to be a massive issue from the top down!
This is not a hospital for sick patients and should be investigated with immediate effect. …
Night shift Reception staff in A+E Arrogant dismissive no empathy . Not a chance on this earth would they like their own family members treat in the same way. Triage nurses One was wonderful and understanding the other never got off her …
My only experience of the services are associated with my elderly parents I wont list the numerous issues experienced as there are far too many but if you’re old and frail don’t expect too much in the way of ‘CARE’. Its a word that’s lost …
If I could put minus I would. Is it any wonder Doncaster Royal infirmary has a bad reputation. My elderly parent had to wait 9 hours before she was discharged. The staff lie to your face, it’s excuse after excuse. It’s disgraceful how the …
I phoned NHS 111 in the early hours of Saturday 7th May 2022, because I had some aching behind my eyes, and I’d woken up at about 4am to find that the white of my right eye was almost completely covered in deep red blood. NHS 111 advised me …

It was very busy and full nurse was very polite and helpful
Was in for several weeks with COVID. the nurses were amazing they never stop. They always make sure you’re comfortable and have what you need. I have to say they need to change the caterer, the majority of the food was absolutely dire.
a hospital mess at the emergency department, people wait like at the cinema people pass out and vomit and are ignored even in the ward I mention that there is no water on the table for the patients either the most horrible and horrible hospital
Took my brother and the staff was fantastic and lovely but the wait times was awful, waited four hours to see a surgeon then to be told we have to wait longer because he just went into surgery, it’s 4.40am, my brother In loads of pain, I don’t blame staff for wait times, the higher ups should sort their mess out

June 7th 2022 i had a stroke and was rushed to Doncaster Royal hospital.where doctor and nurses were waiting for me they worked at speed to do all tests required.i was taken to ward 16 where all the nurses looked after me and gave me plenty …
I would gave zero stars if possible as, being a nurse, i went there as a pacient with one occasion and the way how i was treated, by the receptionist and the nurse on triage was absolutely disgusting, no nmc code no dignity and no respect there, a shame for everyone that is a medical professional
Despite l remain shielding as advised by my gp and needed an X-ray, the nurse from A&E sent me to urgent care where they couldn’t get it done as it’s something only A&E can do, my conditions remain critical but not severe yet. My gp has now …
I had to go into DRI for appendicitis and I was so so nervous being my first OP and first proper hospital stay. Everyone was pleasant and was up for a chat and a bit of humour. I’d like to thank all the staff in Surgical Assessment and S12 Ward plus all the theater staff that looked after me. Recovering well all down to them 🙂

Mother in law inpatient. Spent three days visiting her. The three stars are for the staff; unfailingly kind, helpful and doing their very best in a poor environment. They deserve 10 stars really. …

Thank you very much for treatment today. A&E has done fantastic job! I have waited in sitting room with kidney stones for litteraly 1 minute, and treatment was applied so rapidly that I have been amazed. Thanks to doctors, nursing staff, radiology staff and all who helped me while I’ve been in agony.
I really wish I could give a better review of the A&E and NHS Services; but it was a bad experience. I went to A&E in crippling lower rib pain that was radiating into my back, which I had been suffering with for 2 days straight before …
