Overpaid consultants with bad attitude waited nearly a year for appointment and when I turned up on time had to wait for over an hour due to consultant not bothering to get to work on time. When you criticise them they don’t like it and accuse you of abuse stop wasting my tax money on these people.

I went to Sunderland infirmary today my appointment was 1.55 I got there 1.40 and within a minute I got seen too by a lovely lady. Then next to photograph ward who also were fantastic and bk to consultant mr smith.. all staff friendly and I cannot praise this place enough. Well done all!

This hospital is absolutely amazing. I had a visual disturbance lasting 24 hours. My GP recommended making an appointment to be checked. From walking in, i was looked after in the most caring professional way. I can not fault the process and would give my grateful thanks to the entire team for giving me peace of mind.

While more than happy with the care I received at A&E, I received a parking fine for failing to add to the time already paid for during treatment. As with many hospitals the car park is owned and operated by a 3rd party whose primary aim is collecting fines from patients and visitors and not the well being of their customers.

First class treatment and quick when I was there. I’ve had consultations and operations in Canada and Spain and Sunderland is the best. And it’s free!

Cannot praise this hospital enough. All staff are pleasant and efficient.

Went in for cataract removal. Staff explained everything in detail. Actual operation took less than 15 minutes. Cannot praise them too highly.

Had a very nasty eye injury … which at first threatened to loose my eye of which a fantastic man called Mr Habib saved with the help of another fantastic man called Mr Nasri im still under Mr Habib consultation BUT the care and attention from all at SUNDERLAND EYE INFIRMARY is only second to NONE…..
