We are so lucky to have a walk-in centre within a couple of miles from us. Always struggling to get a gp appointment post Covid. We had less than a 2hr wait and saw a great nurse who was kind and thorough.
More people should use this service rather than blocking up A&E!

I had to attend for a medical self-help course on a Saturday. It was very quiet with no sign of activity. I’m not sure if there are wards. I assume so, but it isn’t like a busy hospital with people coming and going. Parking was free as we using the hospital services on a weekend. It might not be free during the week.

Great for blood tests with free parking (just remember to enter your vehicle registration number into the consoles located within the hospital- there’s plenty of them and well publicised), very friendly and caring staff and a Costa inside for snacks. Much more convenient than Chase Farm or Barnet General..
