I entered Hammersmith Hospital with an appointment for a procedure – coronary angioplasty. I am in awe of the professionalism and the work of the entire team and I am very grateful for the care provided by Dr. Smith, Dr. Baker and the cardiology team. Thanks again for giving me back my hope in life. Sincerely
Y Damyanovski
Tatiana, the best phlembotomist in London for people with very difficult veins! She gets it the first time, every time. I am eager to travel to be her patient. However, I would prefer to stay here. Simply the best!
you could be a heart patient waiting for ep study for days and be forced to fast and procedure is cancelled without any communication. …
Remarkable service from the Hammersmith paediatric outpatient department on 14/4/23. Sharon Holder & her team went above and beyond to sort out my child’s wrongly booked test and later followed up on the results. So grateful to the …
Very disappointing experience at the children’s outpatient department. Waited 3 weeks for a referral to a tongue tie specialist, only to be told that the nurse won’t look at my newborn’s condition.
I go here often to see Dr. Varnava for my heart condition. She is very knowledgeable and has helped a lot with my rare condition.

I took part in a medical experiment here and stayed for few days. I found the doctors very sincere and helpful. Washrooms and corridors were clean.
We had a baby here, and there were some amazing members of staff and some more challenging ones. Overall, it was a great experience and we are thankful.
I went in for a thyroidectomy with Miss Aimee De Marco and her team. I was so well looked after and reasured by all the staff as I was terrified and scared of the proceedure. They had a lot to put up with me, sorry everyone! They must be …
Many buildings/multiple floors/looong corridors/old structures/lots of people/no obvious reception/lots of doors which may or may not lead to another building/no signposts. It is difficult to find where I want to go. A lot of new visitors end up lost here.
Had my son here – Wolfson IVF unit, then Queen Charlottes both brilliant, but private services. …
Whilst my mother has already passed away, she received such great care from the Haematology/cancer department here. Although she was terminally ill, we looked forward to our appointments here solely due to the fact that the nurses, phlebotomists and doctors were simply nice.
Deena Paul she is amazing. The best nurse
Was booked in yesterday for throidectomy. Was 4th on list to be operated. Waited all day til after 5pm to realise that a young doctor who was quite friendly with another patient who i must mention was 8th on list, sneaked her in before me …
Fantastic hospital. Been coming here last 40yrs had a pacemaker here & awaiting heart surgery. The services, staff, everyone is professional, helpful and friendly. Parking is always difficult must admit and the charges ridiculous should be Free for first two hours.

He was probably the most kind doctor that we met in UK.
He took very good care of my mom during the whole treatment, very patiently, …

Was sent by 111 to Urgent Care Department on 13/6/22, 9.30am appointment. To the Dr who said I had a virus or covid and to take paracetamol/ibuprofen you sent me away with PNEUMONIA. You would’ve known this if you had bothered to check my …
I had an amazing experience recently at Hammersmith Hospital. I was in for a total thyroidectomy provided by the brilliant Miss. Aimee Di Marco and her stellar team. I was taken care of by the most lovely nurse in recovery named Emelia, and …

Fantastic service from the imaging department. Have to have a CT scan on my heart. Made me feel at ease and talked me through every step. So friendly and professional.
Consistently good experiences here. Friendly and knowledgable staff throughout. The building is maze-like, so allow yourself some extra time when visiting! The Drexciyan subway was a nice surprise.
My MuM has been in this Hospital for 4 days and is under-going Dialysis and has been incerted a “Permanent Line”. …
Had a catheter ablation at the Cardiac unit and was treated with great care. As an NHS patient, I had my own room and was looked after really well by all the staff, from the catering staff, to the nurses, porters and specialist cardiac …
Generally good, but don’t set off seeking patient transport (because their “appoint booker” booked you in impossibility early. You will be pushed uncaringly from pillar to post.Rude guy working on front desk of endoscopy (zero compassion like a self righteous block of wood)
Just had Parathyroid and Thyroid surgery today after extensive professional investigations, tests and 100% care. Amazing team of Endocrinologists and related nurses and doctors. I had a complication which was totally out of the blue (and …
Today I had a MRI SCAN but it didn’t go as expected,I felt sick right after.Despite this bad reaction I want to say that the staff of this hospital was amazing.Ready to calm me down during the whole experience and a big shoutout to the awesome female nurse that held my hand ,she truly made my day, you are an angel.
Medical teams and support staff are excellent but i dread calling this hospital and speaking to the administration staff, those in the cashiers department in particular. Appalling phone manner and absolutely no inclination to help. If you …
It’s ok, the bit I go to is quite modern which is nice as the rest of the hospital is very dated. Staff are helpful and friendly. A lot of the clinics tend to run behind by a lot so always expect a long wait. …

Thank you Hammersmith Hospital, you gave a new hope! All the staff including cleaners nurses doctors been amazing. Thank you one more time for looking after me. You guys are the real superheroes!
Get to hospital for post op appointment to find it has been rescheduled.
A letter was sent apparently, still waiting for that to arrive. There should be a better way to inform people! So thanks for wasting our time, petrol and the £4.80 paid for parking!
No complaint for the service. Team is kind and helpful. The building is practically a maze and it may take much more time to find the department you want to attend than you imagine. Arrive well in advance of your appointment.
A very good hospital and probably some of the best doctors here, however I am not impressed with pay and display parking, it it very outdated, you can not pay other than using change, and the worst thing is if you don’t have change then …
Fantastic cardiac care, four stents and a new aortic valve fitted, all done whilst conscious. Pre valve procedure, I allowed myself to be examined by medical students, broke the boredom, and they need to learn.
I spent a month in isolation during my HSCT to get rid of Multiple sclerosis. It worked, and during my stay I saw only the very most profession of service from the Doctors to the cleaning operators. …
Effecient once you get there. No parking – or accurately very difficult. Extortionate if you use the hospital’s spaces. Absolutely useless telephone system (staff need training). Located next to a very forbidding looking prison building. …
**COVID BOOSTER VACCINATION LOCATION**
(badly external signposted on site!): …
The endoscopy department in this hospital cannot be faulted. Kindly, professional staff; clean and wholesome environment; constant explanations of what was happening and what was going to happen, and reassuring aftercare by telephone.
Best so far, thank Dr Robinson Marco.
A very well run Hospital especially in these times. lovely staff and food, clean, tidy and well organised, they literally saved my life. thank you more than words can express. Duncan Canning

Amazing hospital…. saved my husband’s life. Performed a very tricky surgery on me with success. People friendly, helpful and so skilled. Just the best!
NB the listed 24 HR opening applies to the Walk ln Urgent Care Centre. This is a clinic with GPs that has no longer a waiting time than any other hospital, it just seems a little less unfriendly and if you genuinely have to leave, your GP …
I had very bad experiencie with the surgical team!
I went to the A&E on tuesday night because from monday I start with a pain on mi …
Fantastic staff especially nurses, but hospital overworked and understaffed. But not their fault. I wish NHS was getting more funds as promised. Fantastic people work there.
There are not many doctors in the CDC department who are not interested in me, and I don’t get a date to talk to him, I have thlassimia and that’s a risk to my life
The Wolfson Center which is the IVF unit is to be avoided. This place is a money factory and you are just another number. The treatment is the same for every patient and their success rate is very low. I was a private patient and when my …
Former Patient at Auchi Dialysis department & now Renal Outpatients. Unbelievable one-to-one care by the nurses & healthcare assistants. A wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding of the complexities of the comprehensive umbrella …
It’s not actually in Hammersmith, very misleading, I was having a vicious nosebleed in Hammersmith and I asked a local if there were any hospitals and he said I don’t know mate I think Hammersmith hospital is nearby and I was searching for …
Very bad hospital, they made the wrong appointment twice for me, so much wasted time and waiting. Veryy veryy long waiting time(more than 2.5 hours). Staff forgot to lock in my name after initial visit, which addedd to the long waiting.
I received top quality care from Mr Spalding and his surgical team and afterwards from the nursing staff in ward A8. Although 69 years of age I was out shopping in Sainsbury’s and cooking dinner just 13 days after a 6 hour operation to remove a pancreatic/duodenal cancer. I would not have thought that possible.
Took my son and the children department were very nice and helpful. Very professional and well mannered staff. Highly recommend this hospital.
GP service is fantastic. The whole hospital staff are wonderful.
We always feel we are in safe hands.
Thank you all, job well done.
I want to thank Dr. Christoper Baker team, from Cardiology Ward Day, for the professionalism and good work he did for the health of my husband Dragos Vonica.
Called the Gastroenterology department multiple times as I had an urgent referral from the A&E. 90% of the time, the secretary does not pick up the phone, and when he does is very unhelpful and refuses to put you through.
I have been to the urgent care walk-in centre 3 or 4 times and have never had to wait more than 15 minutes. The nursing staff have always been helpful and kind.
Fantastic hospital. They look after me often here. Still cannot believe that Jeremy Hunt has taken away its A&E. This area needs it as alot of the families living nearby are poor & dont own cars to travel to St. Mary’s in Paddington. A stab at social cleansing.
I went to this Hospital twice, and both times good , fast and professional service.Starting with receptionist very nice and helpful to the nurse, the best NHS service so far in London!
Heartfelt thank you, Hammersmith Hospital – CCU Ward A7 – for saving my life. Excellent professionals, most beautiful people giving the best and more.
i was in hdu the care was excellent then went to ward 9 if it wasn’t for the consultants, doctors and the nurses i would not be here, i owe them my life,
thanks does not express enough what they did for me
We went for an MRI in block J. Perfect in terms of punctuality. Olufemi( the receptionist was very helpful ) all the staff was great.

This place is heinous!! Hammersmith centre for health, nothing but incompetence. Two Sunday’s in one month and the nurse just ‘didn’t turn up’!! Can’t believe people like that are in healthcare. NHS = embarrassing!!
