My mum who is 101 was first on a&e and then admitted to a ward, the care was second to none. We were seen quickly and the care we received was amazing. They did everything they could to make mum comfortable and deal with her health issues.

Thank you to all the team in SDEC today and the Ambulance crew. The care today you gave my hubby was thorough and reassuring, first time we have been to this SDEC unit, what a caring place, even the calming background music was very pleasant and reassuring to break up the silence. Well done.

My mother received the worst level of care and empathy during a recent visit, the staff were rude, unprofessional and didn’t have a clue what was going on. They kept wanting to send her home, despite being in tremendous pain. They prescribed the wrong drugs for her pain relief and were generally awful on every level.

Forced to wear a mask yet, GP has stopped insisting. Derbyshire blood tests by appointment only yet Nottinghamshire sit (with 40 others) and wait.
Seems NHS view supermarket staff as expendable (zero requirement for masks) while unable to manage the “N” in NHS (NATIONAL).
