Staffing levels are tight but everyone does a wonderful job and were very caring to my relative who needed some attention. Watch out for the art work, some lovely gems. Too many to photograph and time was short.

Scary. Went in with a fever (that turned out to be nothing more than a type of common fever) and came out with liver failure due to the wrong medication. Incompetent doctors to the point of wrong diagnosis and wrong medication caused a …
Was in ocean B ward November 2022 and they were excellent. All the consultant, surgeons, theatre staff, anaesthetic staff and nurses on ward were excellent. I was always kept well informed by consultant, surgeon etc and the nursing staff …
The service and level of care delivered by Teresa Faulkner was absolutely brilliant, not only did she show true dedication for her job and went the extra mile but she also made sure we were listened to, the NHS is understaffed for midwives …

My advice is not to be treated for Cancer here.
I was allocated a nurse for throughout my treatment, I only ever saw them 3 times within a 9 month treatment plan. …
Although it’s far from perfect, my mother in law had a fall and from the 999 call to being seen by a doctor was prompt and efficient…the paramedics stayed with her until she’s admitted to a ward and although in a ‘corridor’ it was warm …
gynecology day surgery unit
Doctors, nurses and other staff were amazing. All very caring and supportive. Cleanliness was excellent. Yes, I did have long waits at times, but that is only to be expected. I was kept well informed along the way. Thankyou so much.
I can appreciate everyone has different experiences here but I have to give 5 stars due to the intensive care I received after having emergency brain surgery. Sahara A and B wards are amazing, the nurses and doctors are a credit to Queen’s. …
My daughter had her first baby at Queens today. She had everything planned and organised but at every turn it fell apart, as nature wasn’t on her side, and ended in an emergency c-section. For such a traumatic experience I can honestly say …
My mum was taken in over Christmas with a heart attack caused by having flu & Covid. Her treatment really was second to none, they gave her a thorough going over and she was even taken to Bart’s for couple of days for more tests. She …

I had a colonoscopy at the Clinical Diagnostic Unit. I would like to thank all the staff. I was very nervous and the Dr and all the nurses were very reassuring calming my nerves. The care all round was excellent.
Terrible hospital with terrible staff.
This is our 3rd time terrible experience with the Labour ward for the birth of our 3rd child. They book you an appointment for 7:30am for the C-section and then …
Broke my ankle last year and was looked after in A&E and on the ward magnificently. I’m now all healed and want to thank the lovely staff who are working endlessly whilst short staffed. Lovely volunteer in A&E who came round to chat and also the tea and coffee ladies and cleaners. Thank you.
Absolutely Outrageous!
My brother (14) was run over by a car and has been experiencing nausea, which …
My relative suffered a stroke. Clinical care is second to none – diagnosis through blood tests, CT, MRI and Ultrasound scans, swift identification of the condition, its causes and treatment, giving me enormous confidence in their skills …
The waiting time is awful. I was there for 5 hours the first time (18:15-23:15) and 3.5 the next time (10:30-14:00). Both times I had an infected wound that was literally oozing pus, and I had lost the feeling of pain there. …
Went in with a suspected fracture and waited around 5 hours expecting to wait for about 7 hours. The staff were friendly and explained well what was going to happen. When I went in to put on my cast, the staff were very nice and friendly and tried to make the casting enjoyable as they distracted me by having a conversation with me.
My mum had excellent medical attention for her broken wrist. The staff were extremely attentive, caring and thorough. Very grateful for the nhs and the hard working staff in hospitals.
11 hours in a&e. Still waiting to see a doctor. The waiting room has 4 people in it yet there is still a 3 hr wait. Maybe because the 1 doctor they have has been writing notes for over 2hrs. The staff just say “well haven’t you seen the …
Five stars only due to the midwife who delivered my son called Isabel and Nazmin. When my wife went into labour, the nurses were sceptical saying my wife’s water broke only a couple of hours ago, and she couldn’t be ready to give birth yet. …
I don’t think they deserve any positive rating. And they should change the accident and emergency unit to stay in pain forever . My wife had a strong reaction of medicines on her and she wasn’t in her senses and in so much pain . Still we …
I wouldn’t even give this place a one star, RUDEST and most unprofessional ENT doctor i believe his name was doctor Hassan who completely downplayed my symptoms i have stressed, treated me like a child who didn’t know their own body and …
Worst hospital ever! Turned back home after waiting 9hrs at a&e and they still said we have to wait longer even thought we turned up with an URGENT ECG report from the GP. Ridiculous! Such a BIG hospital and they only have 3 DOCTORS for 40+ …
Called 111 directed to queen’s with an arrival time not appointment time get there 20 mins before this and checked in at reception and told to wait for observations we did they asked thier questions then directed us to another queue again …
This is not a hospital, it is a death camp. Not fit for purpose. Badly managed from top to bottom. A and E is an absolute disgrace totally unable to cope. 7 hour wait before even being seen for initial assessment. …
The Doctor and Midwives using delay tactics to avoid work load.
Waiting for discharge file to complete from 2:00pm to 4:am next day They called Doctor no doctor were available to complete the documentation when the doctor …
Two times they postpone emergency surgery. The first one was delayed 5 minutes before I entered the operating room. They have been playing with me for 2 months without an adequate explanation. I was transferred to another hospital. This is not a normal professional attitude.
Went into queens hostpital on wednesday with my 11 year old daughter for a suspected fracture waited 6 1/2 hours with no pain relief nothing!.
To be finally seen at 10 o,clock ish. …
8 hours wait in A&E to be told that there is no injury doctor. The booked me in the system. Hours were passing by and I heard another patient say there is no doctors. …
Visited this hospital with a friend. First impressions were absolutely great, it was very clean, well looked after and staff were kind and patient. I didn’t have any problems with the parking, as I used the app. My friend spent a few months here and he came out healthy, well looked after and positive to do better.
Went there today to Audiology, wasn’t happy as I didn’t get a hearing test as I thought I would, person who said I’ll do a hearing test, didn’t do one, i don’t know why, only said I need ear wax removal first, but I didn’t realise …
Don’t even bother comjng if you want to go A&E you will experience a 10 hour wait ! a&E department sends you to another ward and starts process all over again 😂 government got what they wanted by underfunding NHS as their long term plan is to privatise. …
Bad experience. People’s life doesn’t matter to them, they are only playing with people’s life, using every patient for their own experiments. First time at the hospital in the UK, but ended disaster and regret. Would have stay at home fight it. 😭😭😭 …
Worst hospital ever, with horrible staff, it takes ages to see someone in A&E , they are superficial, unprepared, you should urgently do a training to your staff and hire quality staff. you will never see low quality staff in University College hospital in London.
Absolutely useless. Was there for almost over 9 hours and the only thing to have been done was have my blood taken and even then i didnt have tue results still after waiting almost 10 hours. …
Absolutely disgusting staff.
Especially 1 Dr in particular, who refused to give me his name because I wanted to make an official complaint about him. These type of discriminating Dr’s …
Wish it could be taken to court many times my partner has been sent to Queens as she suffers from large fibroids and both times was refused a CT scan and was sent home. On top of that she’s has been suffering from a heavy period started …
From Paramedics to A&E, to RESUS, to Majors B, to eSDEC. All staff in all areas listed where amazing. Needless to say, I was feeling very unwell, and needed to feel safe and looked after. I got all of that. A big thank you to everyone that took care of me.
Very well run hospital filled with lovely nurses, receptionists and doctors. Everything has always gone smoothly there with minimal waiting and bureaucracy and nurses that are happy to help and explain things to you – even considering the stress they’re under.
I had a really bad experience at the x-ray department which also does ultrasound. It says emergency all over the x-ray part and is not obvious that it’s outpatient as well. I was 20 minutes exactly late for my appointment. The appointment …
Stayed in the Early pregnancy Unit for 2 nights. The care was very good and I can’t fault it. All staff were lovely. Initial wait time was quite long but that’s due to staff shortage and increased population.
The children orthopaedic team were fantastic to my Son. Highly professional doctors and surgeons. I am very grateful.
The website is impossible to get simple information from. The walk in clinic which it says you can go to is now appointment only but not clear. X-rays were completely empty and yet they won’t see you. Whilst I know the NHS staff work hard. It is very badly managed in some areas!
Had a Colonoscopy last Monday. Unfortunately due to scar tissue it failed as to much pain for me to bare. Waiting for appointment for a Robot to carry the op out now. …
This is only for the nurse Hilda in eSDEC as she is abolitely different from over 95% of the staff. Para medical staff on Queens are horrible, ethically ill, non-profeasional and seems they are working in a butcher shop instead of a …

I had a surgery on at this hospital on September 29, 2022 for a bladder tumor by Dr. Flaviu Bologa. I can say that despite the diagnosis, he induced a state of calm and safety in me and when I woke up from anesthesia I was smiling. A you …
Awaiting an operation date. Pre op over 3 months ago so now has to be re-done…. No date… just waste of my time and the nurses time… sent a sign up from surgery hero… to help me prepare and recover from the operation date i dont have… Just …
I have been here at Queen’s Hospital with my son now for 5 hours and we haven’t seen a doctor yet . My son has cut he’s thumb open and all they have done is asked him to sign in and wait to be called, an that was 5 hours ago. This is pathetic an unacceptable.
I can’t find enough words to thank all the staff in early pregnancy unit doctors, nurses and receptionists. A big Thank You to all of you for they way they treated me, we need more people like you in every hospital !

There are 2 nurses in Major B blood taking unit. The younger one ( they’re both blonde, same figure, height) I think is called Claire. I made the mistake of telling my ailment, but what brought me to Major B, was a suspect blood clot. The …
We had a fantastic experience being treated by Dr Anurag Jain who was an excellent ENT specialist and went to great lengths to provide the best treatment possible.
Day sugary 31st March 2023. Dental. Nurse’s was lovely ,, after surgary in recovery the pain was so unbearable, was given paracetamol in drip nurse in recovery was nice , but my blood pressure was at its highest so needed to get that …
On the positive side,, they are very organised and the place feels clean.
On the negative side, the shortage of staff, lead to 7 hours wait to be seen by a night GP only to be given antibiotics.
The parking is cheap and secure, not busy at night.
Now we are on 2023! I have a facial infection, very bad, from a tooth, I went to maxofacial, I went inside, it’s exactly on the first floor. entering the salon, five cows, I can’t call them women. when will the extraction be done, …
I would like to say that queen’s hospital did fantastic job on my mum. 10 out of 10.
People need to wake up and realise that they are doing a fantastic job. Put yourself in there shoes. People must learn how to be patience and you will been seen by a doctor.
My dad spent his final weeks at this hospital, in Ward Bluebell A. He always praised the staff and they always treated him with respect, dignity and joked with him just like you would a friend. …
Waiting time at the Urgent Treatment Care is 12 hours. I don’t know how unwell people can wait for that length of the time sat on the plastic chair in this cold weather. Is that even humane? It is heartbreaking to know that the sick …
A bunch of staff in the early pregnancy department(in 24/7 helpline) doesn’t even gave me a good response and transfered me thrice when I was talking and also one of them didn’t even listened to my concern and he was saying patients were waiting for him. Seriously????? If you are not gonna listen why do you have a helpline number.
Shocking service. If you come here for an emergency, you are probably better off staying home and suffering, chances are they won’t see you for 17 hours! Such a stupid system for a&e. Kids and adults mixed in urgent care. Waiting time is …
I had an appointment at 12 I ended up leaving at 4pm . I had a scan and that went quickly but i was left waiting from 12:20 to 4pm to hear my results. I was in there for so long I ended up falling asleep. I had no money (as i didn’t think i …
Mr Ali and his team, with dawn his PA are absolutely excellent, very friendly and professional in there work for orthopedic consultation
The staff were so good, and they were very quick and thorough too. We know how under pressure they are under, but it looks like the new A&E system is working better.
Why has this place not been investigated and shut down?
Please by all means stay away from this hospital it is a lability try some where …
So disappointed!

Miss Lorna the nurse from the opthalmology department is very kind and professional and always willing to hear and help you ! She made my day. All the best to her ! ALSO DR ZAHRA ASHENA IS A FANTASTIC OPTHALMOLOGIST AND A SWEETHEART
This hospital is worst service you will get. The receptionist and other staff are not helpful and rude . Very less doctors in this hospital. Staff are thinks they own this hospital that’s how they thinks. Very Very slow service. They are just wasting government money. It good go somewhere else.
Had a great time despite the circumstances! Was kinda dreading it because of past reviews, but the staff and doctors were lovely, attentive and professional. …
