Staff at St Alban’s City Hosp
Kind and caring approach they seem to be able to give that little bit of time that makes such a difference.
I was in for an overnight stay for parotid surgery and all the staff were amazing. From pre-op, admissions, all the nurses on Beckett Ward and the surgical team. They all took such good care of me. Thank you to all the team.

My husband has just come out of hospital,Delhi a Mare ward & was very happy with everything.wonderful staff & surgeon in fact everyone.
Parking could be a problem but I had a early appointment. Nice and clean nurses very helpful good little coffee shop
Like that it’s small enough to be local and friendly. Yet big enough to deal with matters. The Blood test area ebbs and flows and can take between 20-40mins depending on time of day. But they are all friendly and pretty quick!
The cafe is reasonably priced too.
First time in hospital and I was looked after so fantastically well; amazing people work here. From the cleaners to the surgeons and everyone inbetween. A special thank you to everyone on the Beckett Ward for making my stay as comfortable as possible – they’re a kind and very caring team.
Good access only issue as with all hospitals is having to pay to park .
Long live NHS and St Albans City Hospital! I just underwent surgery and couldn’t ask for a better treatment. The Surgeon and his team were flawless, and the nursing team couldn’t be kinder and more helpful. Thank you all for being such amazing humanbeings and outstanding professionals! ♥️♥️

I was so well looked after for my surgical proceedure (Runcie ward) staff were absoloutley amazing! from the experience on the ward- through to theatre then recovery. Disgusting, it’s isn’t 24hours. We had a patient and when we went there it was closed. Why does google say its 24h
The worse hospital ever. No respect for patients no care nothing and no one what can make your feel Good and like Human while you waiting. Nurses are rude and they don’t know what they doing. They are rise Voice on each other and arguing with eachother on front od patients.

I cannot rate this hospital and their staff any higher from parking attendant cleaning staff coffee shop nurses they were all so helpful courteous cheerful and if your in day surgery you only have to pay 6 pound packing for the whole day but you have to see parking attendant for a packing slip .

Easy to find where l had to go. Friendly nurses and seen quickly.
Extremely long wait times. Had to wait for 2 and a half hours for an appointment before being seen.
Lovely and clean. My only negative thing is the criminal parking charges.
Hospital and the staff are always friendly and helpful. But the ambulance transport always let’s the hospital down, and unfortunately the staff get the brunt of this.
Clear signs for parking lots of spaces. Well signposted. Coffee shop inside and helpful staff if you lost
Had a hernia repair, the staff were 1st class I couldn’t have asked for more cannot praise them enough, thank you.
