Write a ReviewAfter spending 4 years of my life studying here I can wholeheartedly say that this is the biggest scam. The university don’t care about their students and exist purely to make money. The vice chancellor is on an eye watering salary and they …
Yeah, I’m a fresher (new student) yeah, so still getting a hold of how the school system works and things I could enjoy. I’ll update my ratings as I spend more time in school …. for the now I enjoy their warm reception, I think it’s a …
Camerinfolks was a turning point of my career from developer to tester. Also their extra curricular activity sections helped me to boost up my positive thoughts and confidence. All the services are outstanding .
Its the worst university I have heard of. My cousin was studying here for bachelors. First semester was completed and now in second sem they have excluded his name without any warning for not submitting address details. You guys have …
In my opinion UOP is a excellent uni and best student friendly sea front city
Personally the Uni is bit strict in academic side . However the staff is too co-operative with students
I have no idea who I just spoke to at Uni of Portsmouth (student payment department!) but she was smug, rude, patronising and unhelpful. She left me feeling shocked that someone with a public facing role can be so horrid. Genuinely concerned for the lack of people skills at this University.
Great place to study…a place that has everything
University of Portsmouth does not accept self publishing for their PhDs by publication. I will return with more than selfpublished contributions.
People randomly talking very loud on the ground floor. Other than that the library was ok.
It is really amazing. The beautiful University ever i see in my life.
Studied a BA degree through its collaborative partner. Perfect learning journey. …
Nice place and university. Unfortunately, its admission department loves rejecting good students because they consider exam boards’ false judgement about students a dogma. They fail to understand they lose money by rejecting students. …
Please tell me about unismarter navitas pathway proggram ? is this company is really doing work in collaboration with uni of portsmouth?
I have gained lots of support throughout my 3 years so far at the university with studying abroad, placements and accommodation. So good to be in a city but so close to the beach at the same time. Loved all the staff members I have met and …
Avoid the Accounting tutor Ian Piper at all cost for your own good. He was useless at helping students with dissertation and grades them very harshly based on attendance and likability, not on content and research. The university and campus however was an enjoyable experience.
If you or anyone close to you are looking at university options, this is one worthy of consideration. On a campus within the city there are many facilities offering numerous courses. The UoP has an ambition of new buildings and …
A decent place. It would be even better if my ex didn’t cheat on me and instead was still in love with me
Sorry to say that Don’t go for this university if you are an international student. It’s such a shame threatening those students that they will be excluded if the don’t met up with a ridicules payment plan. You will not learn as much as …
Don’t go for this university if you are an international student. It’s such a shame threatening those students that they will be excluded if the don’t met up with a ridicules payment plan. You will not learn as much as mental health stress …
I just wanted to say that my time at the University of Portsmouth was amazing. Not only in my undergrad years, but also while I studied postgraduate. I studied in SEES, (School of Earth and Environmental Sciences) and not only was the …
You should study here. Best teacher you can get here.
Quite a beautiful place to be, it does have a serene environment, beautiful library with quality books therein, quality of teachings and tutorial has and will always be excellent. Above all, friendly lecturers, steadily impacting knowledge to students.
I have a UK master’s degree and doctorate in business but this university did not find me a proper fit for their interpreter programme whereas I speak two different languages fluently at a proficiency level including British English. They …
I really enjoyed my time at Portsmouth University. I studied Environmental Science and would defiantly recommend the course to anyone considering it. The facilities were excellent and during the course there was a lot of practical elements …
University doesn’t care about the international students because of I got the university offer letter for jan intake 2020 .after then I have ready to pay my course fees but university says we don’t accept any further application for this …
As a mature student, aged 33, with the commitment of full time employment, I can still manage the workload of the MSc at the learning at work course. Tutor support is absolutely fantastic. Best of all I am 13000km away, and by anyone’s standard the course fees are affordable. Great University!
Free dental hygiene and routine treatment from students of Portsmouth and Kings College London, supervised by experienced dentist-tutors. Lovely staff, highest quality in my view.
As a SEES graduate, I can safely say I had a great time at UoP. I have met some incredible like minded people and lecturers. The all of lecturers had a vast amount of knowledge and experience. They were always happy to spend extra time with …
UOP is our partnership university of Engineering and they hosted a group of island students to present progression opportunity. All found the day really informative. Thank you!
I sent in my asking information more information about a course. I received a email with a link to the course and a link to apply. Comparing to 5 university I sent my query in they seem to don’t care about the prospective student. May be you need a new Admission team?
Best university for undergraduate.
It was pointless to get through their DBA enrollment progress even if one has relevant MBA and sufficient experience. Interviewers will never be as enlightened as other more valued Universities. Even, genius Einstein would not be able to …
I had an amazing experience at UOP as an environmental student. Not only did the staff go out of their way to help me graduate oversees when I had family issues, David Franklin, Michelle Bloor, Sarah Reynolds, Mike Fowler and Michelle Hale …
Never was my plan to go to Portsmouth for my degree. Also, when I went there, I never thought I would love and enjoy every. single. thing. about it. …
I didn’t hear from them about my interview for months and once I messaged them asking what the delay is they declined my offer the next day, didn’t even get a chance. No one bothered to send me any correspondence through out the whole process :/
Admissions team is very disorganised and unresponsive to messages. Instead they bombard you with emails requesting for all sorts, and when you send them, they take very little actions towards ensuring your placement is secure! They can drive you to loosing your interest in the university.
4 starts because I have honestly had some of the best teachers. They were funny so it made those long lectures more fun. Majority of my professors had a PhD. I did have a run in with one that did not get along with anyone. Was generally …
As a graduate of Portsmouth I can say that the level of commitment from everyone at the university is top notch. From the lowest levels all the way to the top and after graduation that commitment does not stop. Support is always available …
Friendly staff make sure that you git right information
I am very sorry to say this university have treated international students very bad, push them to the limits. I have been with university of Portsmouth for the past three years and in my opinion it’s not worth for you as an international student you don’t get to learn.
As a foreigner military member stationed in the UK, my wife, Jennifer Dowling, took advantage of our time there and attended UOP. With my being deployed for the better part of our time there she sought guidance from her professors David …
Nice university campus , in a very good location, very close to the town centre and station
A mixed bag, to be perfectly frank, some pretty good tutors (I say tutors because I don’t think any of mine had a phd, is this what we’re paying £9,000 a year for now? But I digress… ), but some pretty useless ones as well. One of my …
The worst Uni, students who spent 3 years of their life studying optometry have lost 3 years because the university have lost their GOC license and it so happens they promised to apply against the decision but that turned out to be a lie!! These students are now in tears and have lost all hopes!!
It’s totally amazing. I am very Proud to be a student from this University.
They can build towers for students but not social housing for the local area. They’ve destroyed Portsmouth City centre, yet there campus expansion continues.
Unhelpful, unfriendly and useless; the University of Portsmouth is a poxy stain on higher education. Its facilities are ugly, outdated and third rate, its staff uncaring simpletons who appear to put their own interests above the interests …
Great place to find a better learning!!
Never went here was just sat in traffic for AGES!
I have just finished my degree in am so happy I went into it l love everything and everyone was so nice you can go if you have a really bad GCES grade they take everyone so if you want to have a good time at university i want you to go here
Fantastic Graduation Day in the ☀️☀️
I was there for 4 years. Really enjoyed my time there. The lecturers were excellent and if you had a problem they were always willing to help.
Very good I had a wisdom tooth out there .I also walk round the grounds as the kids love running about there is a lot of beautiful flowers and alsorts of different trees.holly willows fern silver bearch snowdrops and blue bells.there is benches and a beautiful rockery garden .
I fall in love of this University. 😍 …
There is a huge homeless problem here, i recommend anywhere else until it is solved, otherwise a great uni. …
Don’t waste your time or money. The online degrees are a joke and the professors were highly unorganized and dull.
They don’t care about anything but getting the cash. Terrible staff, terrible support, terrible ideas and decisions and our complaints are never taken seriously. Don’t even think about this university.
In May 2018 I visited Portsmouth and walked round most of the city visiting the Historic dockyard also. I parked in the Park and Ride car park and jumped on a bus into Portsmouth. The first stop being St. Johns Catholic Cathedral in Bishop …
They losing the students, student services and admission team is useless and they get paid for nothing, even the robot can be more helpful!!!
Disappointed 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 …
I’ve been in this university for four years completing my master of engineering this year and the University is simply very professional with beautiful locations
Really good library to work at, even during covid. Going to miss it a bit when I leave university.
It’s alright, but I’ve cried more here than as a baby. It’s the most stressfulled holiday I’ve ever been on.
Absolutely brilliat sutdious centre one of my tpop top aspirational choices my mum knows a guy who;’s son’s best briend went they’re but he got kicked out after 2 weeks for possesion of a class a drug lol x
Brilliant experience of meeting Paul, whilst on holiday near Lakeside! Hope to see you guys soon, on my return to the area.
University of Portsmouth is a great education institute I have ever seen in my life. Great to having with you.
I’m planning to take innovative management and entrepreneurship, can anyone help me with the details like it will be good from this unvi as I’m international student , how ppl are there and how about stay and jobs

Very friendly and supportive new modern University in the hearth of the city and lots of opportunity.
A wonderful city with great people all around. I specially loved the commercial road …….. spacious and easy of access
⚡️👍 …
Love everything about the university and will starting there in September very excited!
An excellent engineering department. Plenty of resources. The library is also nice.
Finished history in 08, got a job straight away, 40k sallary, after three and a half years. Loved it.
What about people at the University? I mean students. Are they… friendly? 😀 Small question but I’d be grateful for answer.
They close at 5pm.
Awesome citadel of learning in a very conducive well planned city
