Write a ReviewIt’s so beautiful and peaceful, one of the biggest universities I’ve ever seen, so calm ah love this environment, very country side but so prettyyy
A very big University, there are so many paths to walk, parks, lakes and ducks and it’s very easy to reach the town centre of Reading. There are buses that go to the uni from the train station too and they don’t take long. The Student Union …
The University of Reading is one of the British universities in Reading, Berkshire, which was founded in 1892. It is one of the well-established universities in the field of research, education and training at all local, national and …
Final year Marketing student here. Lovely campus and great accommodation where I stayed in first and final year (Bridges Halls). Teaching was great, especially from Aki Karim, an exceptional lecturer who is incredibly knowledgeable, …
We visited Reading university yesterday on it’s open day tour. Lovely atmosphere, from the moment you arrive till you leave you feel at ease. Everyone is very helpful engaging and trying their best. The library is very impressive and …
University grounds are so beautiful. Don’t know anything about lectures😉 but I love coming here for connecting with nature. …
Very green university. A lot of eateries and there is a co-op shop as well. Bus 21 and 21a will take you to the station.
Lovely place. Shame about all the people running around with knives, had to duel five of them. I never lost.
A serene environment, very welcoming and homely.
Every section, location and department properly structured and well laid out. …
Rubbish. Money-grabbers. Ableist. Liars. Ironic the way they mistreat young people because CAMHS is on the campus. …
Absolute great place, always a pleasure playing here as quality of the pitch is probably one of the best in town, always clean and tidy and also staff is very friendly and helpful !
Amazing University with a lovely greenery,
And awesome Sports park facilities 😊👏😇👍 …
This review is about the Park House venue. It has a stripped-to-the-bone menu, very few choices, especially for vegans. I had cauliflower pieces in batter, and the cauliflower was cooked until it was the consistency of mashed potato. This is the worst example of mass catering; simply pre-cooked and then warmed to order.
What a great visit we had, very friendly and well organised open day. There were plenty of guides around and all happy to show us around or answer questions. There was a coach to take us to and from the station and we had a refreshment voucher!
Just a brief meeting on the Whiteknights Campus.
It seems a very spacious well maintained Campus with good Sports facilities. I will definitely return for a closer look & enquire about the sports facilities available to the public.
My lovely Uni. Awesome campus, lots of green areas.
Loved my experience here as a student ❤️
I had the time of my life in this university. Is full of International people and loads of things to do. Loved it with all of my heart. I don’t think anything will ever top the feeling of being in this city.
Lovely campus with lots of green areas
Nice big campus and good facilities. Staff members and students are so very knowledgeable, approachable and helpful.
Great campus. Ridiculous, insulting rules.
Reading University has made every effort to be welcoming and safe for University students in 2020. The grounds are large, with beautiful trees and a myriad of sports facilities. The staff and students are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. All very reassuring in these uncertain times.
Fantastic time for 4 years. Great grounds, great shops, great teaching (from my experience). Very worthwhile academia.
Nice place to walk, only got stabbed twice this year so far
Lovely environment. Free from litter, many bins to dispose of waste, easy to navigate site. Road and walkways well maintained. Plenty of benches etc to sit outside.
Really impressed with the campus, the facilities and the courses offered. Pleasantly surprised with it all!
Will be paying 60,000+ for no lectures due to strikes and the pandemic. Uni cant even be bothered to change a name error on my certificate. Honestly, do not study here Universities are now acting like greedy businesses and have no interest …
To be clear I’m rating the campus as a member of the community rather than a student. The university of Reading has the single loveliest campus of any university I have had the pleasure of visiting. The mass of woodland area and very pretty …
Big up Big up the Christmas reggae festival
Had a wicked night♥️♥️
Thankyou
Very good university for postgrad. They were quite flexible during the covid and the hybrid teaching was definitely perfect for me
Lovely walk round the beautiful grounds . The lake has the swans with their cygnets too which was lovely as well as several other birds to look at . Very pleasant wooded grounds .
Fantastic university. Great facilities. Big and plenty of social activities and amenities.
Very informative offer holder day. It increased my daughter’s enthusiasm for the uni. She needs to narrow her selection from 5 to 2.
The University of Reading is a public university in Reading, England. It is one of the best universities in the world. The University is highly regarded in respect of research and academia. Campus is excellent with parkland, Sports pitches and gardens. I loved my time there.
I stayed in Reading for two summers and I regularly came back to visit as my best friend attended the university. The campus was nice and spacious, although one downside would be it is quite a walk to the station! The library was really good and the students at Reading seem to thrive in the environment!
Campus looks AMAZING, although I haven’t started my course yet, so I can’t say anything about lectures.
I’ll be very much pleased to go to Reading, as it is a highly recommended uni …
Dropped my daughter off today. Very anxious because of the current situation. The university have put very good arrangements in, for staggered arrivals. They have a very organised system in place, and the drop off went very smoothly.
World class university , huge area covered. Research materials are largely available from the Library and online platform. Best known for Agriculture, forestry and Henley business School. Beautiful time spent working here. Bus service is available from the Reading town centre, and the railway station.
Lovely place to walk around and explore. Back when I was a student, less positive experience – very expensive to live in Reading, only 5hrs of lectures a week and the facilities were unimpressive. Note in the last ten years they have built …
If your looking for undergrad courses, keep looking.
Apathy, aloofness and blatant unprofessional practices are rife. …
I love walking around the uni grounds, lake and Harris Gardens. So peaceful you wouldn’t think you were in a busy town.
Wonderful campus that has great appeal to Staff Students Visitors and is a haven for wildlife. Where else would you find lakes and a wilderness so close to a thriving town.
Expansive campus including a nature reserve and many amenities
It is a good place for study.
I went here for a four day metrology taster course/ work experience, which was very useful, interesting and beneficial for me! Very funny and friendly staff in the department from the professors and staff to the students studying there. …
Reading University.. what thrilling times.. such highs and lows.. the people I met here.. the lectures I heard echoing across the halls.. the paintings on the walls.. knowledge filled the air as I strolled through this place once as I was delivering a pizza to a student. Fascinating place.
A wonderfully organised open day. Very helpful staff and students on hand at every turn to assist.
I don’t feel this University supports long term illness or disabled students that well and actually seems to be a serious lack of communication between students and tutors or understanding on how long term illness can and does impede on a …
New Reading CAMHS base at Erlegh House, University of Reading is a great building with ample parking and great facilities. The building is currently undergoing further renovation which should make it even more user friendly and bring it into the 21st Century.
I need to know more about what activities i can attend in the cresent club
Honestly this is the most disrespectful and rude university I’ve ever dealt with! I had payed the “refundable deposit” (€2880) to reserve my place for last January semester because I was going to attend for my foundation year but Im so glad …
As universities go, Reading has a lovely campus that is quite nicely centralized. There are quite a few very well-regarded departments as well, such as Archaeology, Systems Engineering, Agriculture and Philosophy. Sadly, from the look of …
It’s a big eff-off uni campus about 25-30 mins walk from Reading town centre. The student uni bar is pretty good. The grounds are nice to walk around. I have no idea what the academic facilities are like. There’s a cinema there, but it’s …
Was not there, an error of location by Google
I was there on work so cant really comment much apart from the campus is really big but appears to be spotless and quite open.
Very good university, located on a great campus. Great for a day out or a casual walk, can be full of students but rarely an issue.
Did a National Citizen Service experience here, and it was very nice. Beds were comfy, there were plenty of people to socialise with, and a lot of good food. But sadly the Wi-Fi wasn’t that good when I went there, kept cutting out and the …
It was an insightful & exciting experience all the way, including the academic digest. It’s always a pleasure to return always. Shalom, James.
Great university, love the green fields.
Very modern university with good learning facilities – especially the new science building and Cole Museum.
a totally foul university, very bad experience. They just want money from international students. Lack of scholarship. U will spend a huge money here but at the end u will remain unemployed. Not recommended to international students.
Fantastic facilities on a wonderful campus.
Now the state of the art brandnew Malaysian campus was just opened in Sept. 2015. Fabulous place to study that offer the best of both world, UK and Malaysia!
I am sharing my recent experience as a Care Assistant supporting a disabled student at this university. Very poor security system in place, literally anybody could access the premises of the university and nobody would know at the right …
Visit as a contractor for work, very tidy location outside areas are kept very well.
This university building is outside the university grounds
Terrible University. The lack of care for students is atrocious. It is literally one of the worst Universities in the country for student satisfaction. DO NOT apply to study here
Bit biased, but a great place to study #UniForReading
Could do with benches near the outdoor tennis courts; otherwise, you have to stand near a wooden fence to wait to go on to the courts.
The Parkhouse bar is lovely because it has cheap pints!
I really enjoy my daily walk across the Whiteknights campus
Great organisation with the graduation.
Very quiet during lockdown. People use the grounds for their exercise and to get out a bit. Peaceful and quiet.
I studied at the Centre for Applied Linguistics in 1994. I specialised in Materials Development. I must say that I really appreciate the type of strong and consistent training I received. In fact this training helped me a lot when UCP …
Great university, my daughter like it there
Nice big green campus, inside heart of Reading and close to RBH, the great hall is the highlight where degree ceremony occur twice year
The University of Reading is a friendly place where you feel the strong culture of teaching and research all around you.
Lovely University. Great campuses. Its a brilliant students experience 👏 …
Wonderful place with a charming natural panorama…home of internationally reputed research along with the world class School of Agriculture, Policy & Development
I am in love with this institute, great place to have some quality education and fun at the same time. Highly Recommended!
