Write a ReviewI went to outpatients entrance 5 to do my chest x ray. Wythenshawe hospital is easy to find if you don’t drive like me. It’s about 5 min walk from the nearby tram station. On arrival I was a bit confused where to go. I asked receptionist …
The site is very big so be careful about where you park. They have an A&E and many other specialist wards. There’s an M&S, restaurant and WH SMith along with Chapel and prayer rooms. Parking is expensive but the first 20 mins are free. If …

Daycare and triage for maternity is abysmal. You come in for an appointment which has been pre arranged and don’t even bother getting seen for at least an hour. No social distancing in place, last time I came in I was sat next to another …

Since being admitted I must say what nice staff from Terry settling me in to Steve with the food. The food is really good and plenty of variety. The nurses and doctors efficient and friendly.
Great treatment, super friendly helpful staff from the cleaners upwards I can’t fault anyone. EXCEPT the cook. The food is absolutely diabolical. Easily the worst food I’ve had in any of the hospitals I’ve ever been in. Rice pudding that …

Some nice doctors and well kept hospital, however the service speed was horrendous. I had been in a car accident and in a lot of pain but I had to wait 8-9 hours just to be seen by a doctor? Absolutely shocking.
I was admitted to the ICU ward back in January 2000 after a near fatal accident. …
This is the first review ive ever wrote but it needs to be said.Needlessly horrible and rude staff on the night shift that clearly don’t want to be there or help anyone. One young girl In particular thinks it’s appropriate to gaslight and …
35 years nursing experience working in theatres around Manchester, and i can safely say that these are the most disgusting, back stabbing, low intellect staff i have ever worked with. My only consolation is knowing that they will have to share each other’s company for the next 40 years.
They changed my appointment twice. Final appointment was given for early from the last appointment. Brought forward by 2hrs but clinic was running late for 2hr. Just waste of patients time. Should hospital have stuck with previous …

Elderly father goes into A&E with potential heart issues early afternoon and 8hrs later is still waiting in reception! Absolute disgrace. I’m sure the staff are lovely and doing what they can with the tools they are given but this system is beyond broken and isn’t good enough. This hospital needs to improve its crazy!
Attitude of some of the nurses in A&E are unbelievably rude. Waited 18 long hours to see the doctor. Shocking service and one which I have paid into for many decades. I speak four languages, the doctor could barely speak English.
Attended yesterday for a Gastroscopy. Was there 2hrs in total having chose sedation. Staff were lovely and really put you at ease. Was nervous as didn’t know what to expect being a first time, but honestly was such an easy procedure I …

I received very good emergency treatment when I had a blockage in my colon. Special thanks goes out to Mini my nurse in intensive care, she was brilliant and looked after me so well, It made me feel so safe and I got my first good nights sleep for ages knowing I was in the best of hands.
I had my baby in March 2021. I was induced, and had a long labour ending in an emergency c-section. The care I had was excellent. Everyone was professional and kind, and even though my labour was problematic I always felt safe and in good hands. Thank you Wythenshawe for my son.

Since we’re all very quick to complain about the NHS (guilty here too plenty of times 🙋🏻♀️) thought I’d just share my 3 day experience at wythenshawe hospital. Took my 13 year old daughter to my GP on Tuesday. (Stomach ache & vomitting) GP …

The staff at Wythenshawe Hospital are amazing, caring and very professional. It is an excellent hospital. My brother has had several visits to the hospital for vascular problems and every time they have sorted the problem out with a good outcome. You couldn’t ask for better care.
I was in Wythenshawe A&E on Sunday 20th Feb with a nasty wound to my leg. I was seen and treated by an enhanced nurse who was really nice. I didn’t get her name but she really looked after me and we got along nicely which put me at ease and …

I have had to go to a gynecologist for an issue, everything has treated me very well, they are charming and I am grateful to all of them and above all there was a doctor, she is a sweetheart, but I really don’t know her name, I didn’t remember to ask, but I will always remember, so they are all very good.

I Don’t know how to thank the staff enough for the care they provided to my wife. These guys are amazing and each and everyone we met was extremely nice and protective. I am really grateful for everything they did for us. The help you are giving to people is just incomparable. You are amazing. God bless you all.
I will never stop praising this hospital for the help they gave us with our very poorly newborn and then again at Childrens’ A&E. Amazing place!
If there was an option of zero stars I wouldve selected that!! Never ever make the mistake of coming to this hospital. The staff is extremely rude. You get checked after 7-9 hours and then if you have to get something like crutches you have to wait a further 1 hour. I never even thought that a hospital could be this bad
Worst hospital out there , every experience I have had there is a bad one ,doctors have no clue what they are doing .. give you the wrong medication x2 over … leave you for hour and hours and get everything wrong , wouldn’t trust them with a hamster never mind a whole human

Spent a stressful day in accident and emergency today which was extremely busy. Would like to thank all of the staff but specifically Dr Mark Brown who put me at ease and explained in detail what he thought my problem was. Thank you.
