Write a ReviewNice, clean and functional with a contemporary design. The location is close enough to Birmingham to enjoy city life, but close to the ring road for easy motorway access. Theres a young fell about the area as its surrounded by a number of …
Aston University, located in Birmingham, UK, is a well-respected public research university. It offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields such as business, engineering, and social sciences. Known for its strong …
Discrimination is very strong if you are not a medical student. Only they get free ipads plus extra medical resources and funding. And students from other courses are not allowed to enter medicine students’ study area, let alone walking …
Completed my final exam of the law degree last week and the overall teaching has been quite good, especially from Adam Shaw Mellors, who made commercial law an interesting module despite how arduous it sounds. Heres my honest review after …
I visited Aston University for 3 months and I really enjoyed it. The people are very nice and friendly. It has an international atmosphere. Lecturers are very good. The campus is beautiful, especially the lake and the birds. The location of university is great, it’s close to city centre.
When I visited this place, I thought it was all Owned by Unite students. Later saw that property and campus area was good enough.
So far, about 7 months in and it’s a pretty cool uni. Tho the main building has a lot of stairs but try not to take the lifts
A modern university with a good vibe, very welcoming especially the medicine and neuroscience department. Right in the heart of the city centre with good accommodation facilities for the students
Great place to learn. Well equipped and very knowledgeable professors.
AVOID STUDYING “DATA ANALYTICS” IN THIS SCHOOL. IT IS UNDER MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT AND IT IS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME IF YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE CREATING DASHBOARDS, WRITING CODES IN PYTHON OR R, WORKING WITH SQL AND TABLEU/POWERBI, DOING REAL …
Terrible university. They have extremely poor commutation with the students and do not support the struggling students
I’m a student there. Absolutely delighted with my decision to choose Aston Uni to do my post-grad study at. It’s full of opportunities, great academic content, a wonderful multicultural student population and it has everything you could …
Great location only minutes walk to Bull Ring etc. Lovely and friendly staff. Thanks Ran x
Great University with dedicated and supportive staff. They have a strong presence within the city and prospective employers. Can only comment on their Business School where I completed my studies which I give my total respect and appreciation for their consistent motivation and varied teaching methods provided
Nice campus. Friendly people. Good accommodation.
Since graduating I have felt extremely let down by Aston.
For a start my exchange uni which I was only at for one year has been incredibly …
The university provides students with lots of facilities and support, staff are friendly. Overall you get all you would need during your study here. I took one star away because in my opinion international fees compared to the course quality and other universities is fairly high (for medicine).
Very good standard university, mostly friendly and helpful lecturers and staff, a lot of resources (computers etc) available for students (some of the lecture rooms have tables with plugs to charge your phone and cupholders). Great location …
i can’t believe people study in here such a beautiful place 😍 …
Could not give 0 stars otherwise would have. No support whatsoever, even if you have needs of any kind. No standards. What was shown on open day was an oscar winning performance. Psychology department is a mess. They should be ashamed. They …
I completed my Masters degree here – to be honest, for an MSc degree, the majority of the course content was VERY basic (I remember learning some of the same things at GCSE and A-Level back in school) and the assignments were too easy… I …
Woke joke that censors students language by giving out lists of inappropriate words that shouldn’t be used, such as ‘British’ & ‘founding fathers’. Hopefully young people realise going here is a waste of their time. Paying good money to go …
Some great facilities but can be difficult to find your way around and one of our party was a wheelchair user who didn’t want to have to sit right at the front of the lectures simply because the auditorium seats were only accessible by steps.
If you want to come out of University with a job. Not applying for pointless graduate schemes, promising jobs following more training and qualification, then this university is great. Just make sure you get a placement.
Aston University offers modern facilities and an airy campus in the centre of Birmingham. …
Came here on a clearing and I can definitely say this is a pretty bad university. The social life is pretty good and I made some amazing friends however the education (which is what I really came here for) is a different story. You will get …
Advertised as “4-star,” but more like a pleasant 3. Beds are two twins pushed together and weren’t very comfortable, nor were the thin pillows. Rooms are small but not cramped. Staff were friendly. Students outside were noisy past 3:00. Now get off my lawn.
No free Parking in such a good place.
Just seen MUSICAL YOUTH shoot their video by Aston university. 😎🎸🌈🖤🤎💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤍 Rastafari. …
My daughter loves the school, ignore the Ofsted report, it’s outdated. She’s extremely happy, and the teachers actually teach, unlike at her previous school.
Aston is an excellent institution to do your studies. Location of the university is fantastic
as its 10 minute walk to the city centre. The teaching is excellent and the …
There is a small tesco local on campus which is filled with students throughout all hours of the day.
I attended Aston for 9 months and it had been a bad experience. It was a big mistake to choose this uni as I believed the TEF gold ranking was really good to study Mech Eng, not to mention it almost killed my future after doing the 1st …
Aston is the third university I’ve studied at and all I can say is that the quality of education is lacking and that students are not treated like adults. …
Takes Covid-19 restrictions very seriously. Unfortunately, you do have to sometimes walk down long corridors and open about 15 doors to get to your session (depending on which floor you are.) and touching so many door handles is very dangerous in terms of Covid. But cleaners can be seen around the corridors on a regular basis.
I enjoyed my Uni days at Aston as I made real friends and loved the green campus. However, there were racist staff in the School of Life and Health Sciences and they constantly made comments that degraded international students. If you are …
Not one drink for someone on a diet or diabetic in their machines apart from water. Absolutely all foods offered in their machines are full of saturated fats either/or sugar. That is the reason as most of their students are overweight! …
Guys do not go to this university,It’s a money making thing. Their professors are not getting held accountable for leaking exams instead university penalize students by forcing them to repeat the year. university Dean does not understand …
Aston University has a good reputation in Business and the university provides an excellent teaching quality for their students. Indeed, the university is located near city centre, therefore it is convenient for those students to have a rest after the end of the classes.
I went to Aston university a couple of years ago and I would not recommend it unless you like being surrounded by racist faculty staff and students. …
Amazing little campus, library, groceries store, accommodation, etc are all withing walking distance. Very clean and civilised. Classes are excellent.
Reply rate and feedback from professors at this University is close to zero. If you are interested in good education with feedback on your hands-ins, I wouldn’t recommend studying here at all.
Racist university with racist and irresponsible lecturers. My biggest mistake of life was coming to this university believing the national ranking. Forget about recommending to someone, if anybody I know wants to have admission to this university, I will stop that person as strongly as I can.
Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, pet friendly make this the ideal location to live. Add to that large rooms with great views! Right next to Costco and University mall.
Final year student, absolutely terrible university. The only redeeming quality is one or two lecturers who actually care. Every other aspect is appalling and wish I never came here.
Good culture, great University and great people. However, please avoid Dr Rowan Hardy (Endocrinology, University of Birmingham) who conducted academic misconduct.
Very good
Chill uni and nice atmosphere
The employees “teachers/heads” lie to you , treat you like idiots just to get rid of you. worst of all education takes a back seat as money and their reputation holds priority.
Decent place, not a bad second option to have if you don’t make it into the much superior University of Birmingham. #whoareya
Fabulous university in a great location. Having just completed my first year I’d 100% recommend it to anybody wanting to study Computer Science
Great university. It is a place that you get support, encouragement and motivation to build up your professional future.
Good school, smart environment at the heart of Birmingham. Lovely place

I’m a second year student and the support I have available to me it’s just amazing. Can’t fault Aston University quite simply the best
I’m in BCU, Aston just next to us.. I guess they’re pretty good! *just my 2cents
Great atmosphere on campus – warm – friendly – relaxed
Had a great time here as an undergrad and an MSc student. Great location and a lovely campus
The best University. Full of kindness and amazing facilities.
World class campus, excellent experience in Business Studies. A lot of opportunities of networking events with businesses.
Study here currently. The campus is really lovely and a helpful area (close to the centre of Birmingham).
Just been back for the first time post pandemic. Who stole the students union building!
Been here for four years, the support staff are willing to give you is fantastic. That combined with the placement yet will enable you to succeed
Good location, confusing infrastructure
Amazing and beautiful campus. A great University with a lot of facilities.
If you are a student here you probaly may have heard about chukys chippy. Please avoid at all cost.
Work hard here and you will be rewarded! Top grades are given to all students who deserve it!
Simply one of the best universities around, if you work hard you are rewarded!
Aston University has a great campus and qualified professionals who strive to give you the best through out your programme.
Currently studying at this Uni lots of gorgeous girls there 5 stars lol
The campus accomodation is not well maintained or cleaned properly and is not good value for the high price charged.
Worst academic year in my life. If you’re international avoid.
Brilliant help from the Receptionists in the library when I was lost and waiting to do exam.
A really good campus , shops , accomodation quality
Super amazing!
Mobile covid test visited. A well managed experience overall.
Joke university. Attend at your own risk. Overrated and they care only about business not people
Good
