Almost brand new. Bright, airy and about as cheerful as a hospital can get. I was seen to by Physio right on time. I’ll be back, because I have to be. Staff were very pleasant and the cafe was totally fine for a snack and coffee/tea. Plenty of parking.

My father had an appointment today with Urology. After months of ongoing health problems I felt it was the first time that all our questions were answered. Everyone was so helpful and kind from the Volunteers to Receptionist, Nurses and Consultant. A very positive NHS experience.

My father was in here recently, lovely staff & lots of volunteers too, coming to ask if he wanted a cuppa at all times. Nice large room, comfy chairs for visitors. Good menu , the food was actually nice when it arrived too. I feel they really looked after him, well done.

Was in day surgery for ophthalmology earlier this week – reception was a little muddled but other than that everything was excellent. Thank you everyone. Must add that my partner used 2 different toilets while he was waiting for me and has commented that they were immaculate and fully serviced.

I hope i never have to come here again as you feel so alone when in day surgery every hospital ive been to you can have someone with you till your ready to go to surgery not here its very isolating.

Had to visit 2 times with my daughter back in September 2018. It was easy to find. Car park was busy but after a little wait spaces become available. Have coins ready 🙂 Our appointments were on time and place looked very clean perhaps a little dated. The nurses were great with my daughter.

£3.50 to park for just over 20 minutes is disgraceful. Appreciate a charge has to be made for parking but needs to be proportionate. Also turning elderly people away who do not have access to a computer to make an appointment for blood testing without offering assistance to help is unkind.

I have had a number of operations in Heatherwood including carpal tunnel. Shoulder impingements and knee . I would rather go to Heatherwood than any hospital in the area. Staff and surgeons are wonderful. I’m back tomorrow the 20/62016 for mole removal and seborrhoeic keratosis. I would rather have done at this hospital.

I went in for day surgery at short stay ward on Wednesday 7th October.Right from 7.30am when I first walked in I was looked after so well.Every staff member including Jane,Nicola,anaesthetist and my surgeon were attentive and caring.When I came back I was fed,watered and made sure all was good.Fantastic people…..Simon McLees
