Went to do a blood test through my University GP and even tho I booked the 03/03/23, the nearest appointment was the 16/03/23 (today), when I arrived at 09:00 AM I was done by 09:10 AM. It was a quick and smooth process.

Receptionist took my details and confirmed approximate waiting time.
Was seen sooner which was great.
Car park is a typical outsourced arrangement. £2.10 per hour via a third party website.

Let’s just say… I’m an enigma wrapped up in a riddle.. it’s a line from a song… You all might have to have studied quantum physics to understand all this but this is a very special hospital and a very special country… In a long long …

My appointment was at Radiology, lovely happy lady on their reception and lovely staff in the department and they were very quick and efficient in seeing me. As you walk through the main doors of the hospital there are signs for department …

Worse hospital I have ever seen in my life! We came from Ukraine. My child has epilepsy. It is not known what happened to the brain during the stress of war. And we can’t find out about this either, because the hospital is not able to …

If you have to go to clinic E for your child / toddlers eye appointment then be prepared to wait for atleast 3 hours. I had no lunch for my toddler just snacks, and she missed her nap. It’s not ok for toddlers to wait that long

My appointment had been forwarded 4 months which was great. This was due to the Dr & nurse came from different areas outside of Hertford. Hence why my appointment was on a sunday. Was informed on letter not to go in until 5mins before appointment time. No one in waiting area. Only waited a short time before being called in

Would not recommend this hospital at all. I was meant to have a blood test here today, only to be told it’s appointment only. Even though my GP sent me there because they do walk in appointments. Booked the day off work so I could come down …

I was apprehensive about my appointment at Hertford Hospital because of all the negative reviews but my experience at a dermatology consultant appointment today was fantastic. Parking was easy with plenty of spaces (expensive but that is …

I do not know why people are employed who have obviously no customer training. I asked receptionist where the clinic I was attending and when I couldn’t hear her and explained I was hard of hearing she glared at me as if I was a nuisance. …

It’s very expensive. Why some one need to pay for 2hr if their appointment takes 30min to 1hr. No card payment option. How elderly people without cash on hand will pay. Do everyone understand how to pay by app. Its hospital, mostly patients will come. Don’t make them even suffer. Dr and Nurse are very helpful.

My visit to the outpatients Geriatric yesterday 14/06/22 was excellent. The staff were courteous and friendly and the doctor explained everything clearly to me. I could not wish for better service from the time I booked in. The car park was very small but there were others nearby.

Awful over-priced parking, then greeted as we walked through the door by an overly aggressive nurse shouting at my wife and pointing at me and shouting ‘is that your partner? – He has to stay in the car’. No ‘please’, ‘thank you’ or polite …

Parked at the multi-storey carpark and simply walked along to the hospital 10 mins walking distance. The hospital is very well organised and I was able to register at reception and was seen for my knee appointment. Face masks must be worn.

Rude staff got told couldn’t have blood test because I had fasted for 16hrs instead of 12hrs? Told to come back to walk in clinic on Saturday morning, turned up saterday told there is no walk in clinic and try another hospital. Will never use this hospital again full of wasters stealing a living.

Staff were lovely and the hospital was clean BUT the parking costs were exorbitant! £4 for the first 2hrs is ridiculous. I was there for 10mins having a blood test. There should be a short stay price for the first half an hour especially when you know you are not going to be there for long! Very disappointing.

No problem with the hospital itself, I am so amazed at the car parking charges especially for disabled. I fell I’ve been robbed with charges like these. The sooner this government finds a way to stop hospitals charging like this, the better!

Lovely hospital, clean and tidy, welcoming. Little cafe on the middle floor that sells hot/cold drinks and snacks. Lifts and disabled toilets available. Drop off access right at main entrance. About 6 disabled parking bays but they’re like hold dust. Like all hospitals, they need more. Overall 5*.

Came here to pathology, for my daughter to have blood tests. The receptionist was so rude. Not sure why people who have no social skills are employed to be customer facing. It is her job to speak to patients.

I’ve always been very impressed with this hospital – largely due to their super kind and friendly staff – but I recently had an appointment with a sonologist who was one of the rudest and most unprofessional people I’ve encountered within the NHS. Sadly, due to this experience, I don’t feel I can give more than a 2-star rating.

Currently sitting in the waiting room of clinic C, already 40 mins after my appointment time and haven’t been seen, pretty sure they forgot about me until I mentioned it at reception. Think they forgot about two other patients as well as they just asked their names and wrote it down on a notepad. Rude and no explanation.
