Write a ReviewI went today for an urology procedure at Medway. The receptionists were friendly and efficient. The clinicians were excellent describing everything they were doing how and why. Post procedure I was given coffee and biscuits. The main point …
Not the best hospital around, awaiting more treatment, and they cancelled my treatment without telling me leaving me suffering for the last six months. However once the lady in the department I need realised she has been going above and …
It’s 7pm in the evening as I’m writing this. The hospital have phoned less than 12 hours before to cancel my partners operation without reason. This operation was supposed to solve my partners debilitating mobility condition. …
Today I visited Eliot Ward for my pre op assessment. I was greeted by lovely friendly helpful staff. One Nurse in particular stood out to me, Belinder Stringer, she helped me overcome my anxiety and went above and beyond to make my appointment go smoothly. She really is a wonderful member of the team there.
Thank you to all the staff on major 3 tonight for all you did for me.

I can’t believe some of the other reviews I am reading of this place. The nurses and doctors here are under tremendous stress working 12 hour days on probably less pay then you are. If it matters so much to you go private. I have the utmost …
The wards are very busy with long waiting times and the food wasnt in good presentation. Some staff are accommodating but some are rude and not give you relevant documentation or update into patients care needs esp when your visiting to do …

Very bad experience whilst my father was unwell. Very few members of staff showed care and compassion towards his needs. It is very sad that things are like this and a huge shame. The processes are slow when a patient just wants you to facilitate their wishes
I went to A&E with my mum. She had swollen eyes. We were very lucky that my mum was seen by Doctor Jahangir Haque . He was brilliant and very professional. He properly checked all my mum’s body. He found out the reason why she had got …
This review is for Medocc which is the GP service in hospital. And not the entire hospital. This place and “Doctors” – if u can call the doctors absolutely ridiculous, they has no clue what are they job are. Honestly i have experienced the …
This place is consistently horrible, I literally have to ask a lot of questions. The first one being, who in their right mind wakes up to be rude to sick and distressed people? At this point, I question if all these cuts are just an excuse …
Attended UCTC this evening with an elderly relative. She was cared for promptly, kindly, compassionately and effectively. She was treated with dignity and respect and we could not be more grateful for everyone’s kindness, especially nurse Michelle and doctor Shell. Thank you so much.
Very poor experience with A&E…poor initial diagnosis of pancreatitis and left to suffer in pain for 4 hours writhing on the floor and vomiting, while staff stood around laughing and joking and not even trying to assist in pain relief. This …
This review is for SDEC only.
I want to say a big thank you to all the Nursing staff and Care workers at SDEC, they are a credit to the NHS and the Hospital. Wait times are another matter of …
Shambolic attitude of staff and lack of basic urgency. Lazy and disorganised attitudes of staff sat with feet on the desk and incapable of providing correct care. Incorrect staff sent to provide vital investigative care.
I recently just came out of medway hospital became of an appendix injury, the nurses were really sweet and caring. They provided me with lots of activities food and made sure I was happy. Glad to say I kinda miss it lol.
Horrible, nightmare hospital.
Personel with very poor experience, with no respect to patients, rude and arrogance is here standard. Worst hospital i have ever seen in my life.
Some nhs hospitals are a joke and then you get some of the patients joining in and having a at you and trying to threaten with violence some cases this is why we have police in place! To all these people who think ok? To threaten others no not OK! Bang out of order!
It customers service needs to dramatically improve. How can their be 6 diffrent phone numbers to 1 department and then mistake me with 2 department with putting me though maternity department when I’m a male and not pregnant. And then the …

We are full of praise at this hospital. A&E, staff Pembroke were brilliant and also with Ocelot ward. Cannot fault anyone. My wife broke her hip hence our praise.
Emerald Ward short Stay The Worst ward to get anyone on Phone if you want to check on love ones, when one cant visit. Phone will be answered after 10 to 15 attempts. When you do visit there always someone on nurse’s station , but trying calling on phone Its a night mare

Mr Derek Kemp first visit to mri today 12th Jan 2023 and the customer care was excellent, clearly shown patients safety and put at ease a priority
I have had many different experiences over the years with this hospital, not always good. I have to say though that through my cancer treatment they have been brilliant, the breast care unit has been fantastic. They are always at the end of the phone and when they say they are going to call back they do.
My elderly father was admitted 5 times in 18 months , 4 of which were result of blue light runs in ambulance. Each time sent home in pain and distress with no action no follow up and told put up with it. …
Amazing hospital, I cannot thank the staff enough, so kind and professional. Everyone was so helpful and thorough. Thank you so much xx
Absolutely awful. I have had private doctors tell me that hospitals have a narrow focus . Basically, if you can walk in and out despite any ailment, you’re fine. A&E are weak. And that bloke called Sean, disgusting. Don’t keep me there for …

Every nurse and doctor in the breast screening clinic was amazing last week. Yes it was very busy and I was there for 3 hours but they worked so hard to see us all as soon as possible. I suffer from severe anxiety so I’m happy all members of staff were so friendly and reassuring. Thank you.

I took my daughter to childrens ED, it was late at night and busy, all staff were very friendly and helpful. Put my daughter at ease and took great care of her. Thankyou to all. Especially Joe the triage nurse. A tough job very well done with a frightened poorly child.

Despite the general downer on The NHS, I have found this hospital to be fantastic, clean, helpful and supportive staff, inpatient services were fantastic, the standard of nursing high and the efficiency of the consultant services very professional with team work at the core of all they do.
This hospital was amazing, I cannot fault the care myself and my son received. During my 20 week scan they picked up on a rare condition which essentially saved his life. During the birth my son had breathing difficulties and they saved him …
After a week of trying to get an appointment with my dr to no avail and being told to call 111 by my doctors surgery I did so. After a lengthy phone call was told I needed to go to the hospital and that paramedics would be sent to assess me …

so kind and caring for my mum on emerald ward for making her comfortable at her end of life care thankyou so much
This review is for Maddock which is the GP service in hospital. And not the entire hospital. Well. Meddoc is a joke, the GP service is an irony. With GP using Google for diagnosis, poor examination and zero communication skills, this place is a big disaster. Time to privatise medical care in uk …sadly
The ambulance that came to pick me up was absolutely outstanding, I cannot recommend the two guys enough. Really, really pleased with them but after they dropped me off at the hospital everything started to go downhill. …
The doctors and nurses are not the problem it is the procedures.
Each thing that happens is flawed and streched. There where old ladys waiting 10 at night till 10 in the morning. I had to wait for 3 hours for pain relief.
1 star very slow staff do not want to help in anyway at all just ignore you till you walk off
I would give 0 stars if I could. Came to A&E with stroke symptoms, IM 28.
22 HOURS LATER AND COUNTING, after being sent to 4 different places 2 being the …
Had a good visit and the staff were very nice. One in particular was informative about the injury and the treatment, so I was aware of what might happen upon further discovery of the wound. Also it is interesting information to me. …
Usually the people working at this hospital are so kind to me and my mum, who is in a wheelchair. However today when going in for a pre-op assessment in the Eliot ward I encounted 2 rude members of staff. I was rudely told that I would have …
I can’t praise the staff on the ICU ward highly enough. They kept us informed & were happy to answer questions. My mum was treated with care & dignity by the friendly, caring staff. Sadly she passed away, but the care she received was …
Receptionist absolutely delightful and kind, as well as most the A&E triage nurses. However one nurse Leanne was quite abrupt and rude when talking to her, even her body language was quite ‘sassy’. This put me off wanting to ask questions …
The worst hospital if you are pregnant. I came in for unrelated stomach complaints, they failed to treat me and my baby came early, 17 weeks early. They sent every doctor to try to discharge me prior to going into early labour, because I …
Worst place ever if your a pregnant woman..Sent to A+E in August with a threatened miscarriage, seemed to care more about what job role I had Over what was wrong with me, sent me to MedDOC instead of the early pregnancy unit on my own with …

I am a patient been here for a week , nurses doctors, porters all great . Unfortunately ruñ into a problem where certain kitchen staff lied about me. Now not asked what I wanted for next da, also ignored when they brought trolley round wiith evening sandwiches. Petty individuals that shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it.
The hospital itself needs more space and staff
The nurses/doctors/cleaners and staff bringing the food round are absolutely amazing and running, and working so hard, they’re really stretched and trying they’re absolute hardest.
Staff are rude they spend more time standing around laughin and joking to seeing patients, a doctor actually walked out mid appooint with my father who has incurable prostate and bone cancer to go get a hot drink no wonder the NHS is in a shambles.
Worst hospital ever if you are pregnant. They will keep wasting your time and make excuses until they have a bed available for you in the delivery room . Doctors can’t give you any specific time for any surgery and they keep postponing the …
Rude woman saw me in a and e didn’t know who she was and referred to me as it and she … Absolutely disgusting
