Write a ReviewMany thanks to the amazing team at Salisbury District Hospital. I could see that the A and E department was under a ton of pressure and yet they remained composed and professional at all times. You are all superhero’s and I am eternally grateful
Shocking lack of care in the Laverstock ward. Bad food, staff with little knowledge or care. My relative came out worse than when she went in, surely this is not the role of a hospital! The food needs sorting – using tax payers’ money to …
In November 2022 I arrived at A & E in Salisbury, on my own , frightened, away from home in Cardiff with some symptoms of stroke. From arrival the service I had was first class. The staff right across the board were caring and took their …

Was brought into A and E on Thursday due to severe back pain. The staff were wonderful, could not have been kinder. Scans and test were carried out without long waits and I felt safe and cared for. Thank you so much to all involved

Very poor management in this hospital couldn’t even provide the procedure that I needed , been sent home in a worse state then when I want in. Now have to wait. Nurses did the best they could care wise, but also looked to talk between the self about they social life’s a lot. Email will be sent to pals on my behalf.
I have no complaints whatsoever about my consultation and treatment in this excellent hospital staffed by helpful and considerate staff. I have complaints however about the state of the heavily used male toilets just inside the main …
Well what can I say other than BRILLIANT.
All the staff I interacted with through the day were exceptional.
I can say this as I am comparing it with a terrible experience the day before at …
Disappointed at the highest level is how I feel about the plastics department I have been and am still being let down on a daily basis why doesn’t anyone help me ?
Clean hospital nurses are always good at talking my blood, even with my small veins.
Wrongly diagnosed in Rheumatology. Radiologists and specialist are unfamiliar with the less common autoimmune types of arthritis. You are probably OK if you have rheumatoid arthritis, but Bath RNHRD is a more specialist centre for anything …
I will be making a formal complaint against the hospital pharmacist, and discovered, last night, what I already suspected, namely that the respiratory consultant breached doctor/ patient confidentiality with another woman who has no …

Our first visit. It’s big, but well signposted. Friendly staff. Small Marks & Spencer on site. Lloyds chemist too.
Our twins were born in Salisbury hospital on 9 March and we want to say an enormous thank you to all of the amazing staff, who in spite of limited resources, created a caring, friendly, professional and safe environment. To every member of the team, whether in the theatre or ward (post natal and maternity), you are amazing. Thank you!

So much better than Winchester hospital. I’ve been going to Winchester for 4 years for this thing and haven’t gotten anywhere with them. On my first appointment at Salisbury it wasn’t a long wait, everyone was friendly and they were clear and told me exactly what my options were. I’m going back to have surgery hopefully soon.
I was extremely impressed with the antenatal staff at this hospital. The midwives when above and beyond their means to make sure that I was thoroughly cared for during and after giving birth…..for this I am eternally gratefully….thank u ladies..xxxx

This has to be the worst run hospital in the country. It’s dangerous and unprofessional. Don’t get letters sent out, the endocrinology department is an absolute joke, run by amateurs who are guessing what’s wrong, they don’t read notes.
Good hospital with lots of departments and wards. Parking can be tricky so allow time. Springs restaurant located on bottom floor is spacious and has a good range of products. The smaller coffee shop just inside main entrance has nice cakes …

Thank you , you went out of your way to help us Tina Deary
Amazing staff doing great work, it’s just a shame the government doesn’t acknowledge them enough. This hospital is clean, easy to navigate and everyone is helpful. The only downside is the cost the private parking company charges!
NHS gets bad press, I’ve personally not experienced anything of the sort…on my last visit my son was in the Sarum Ward. The care was great and the ward is modern….was very proud of the nurses who worked tirelessly too make sure everyone …

I cannot fault the staff but the front car park requires rubbish to be removed. Whole area is scruffy and areas in the hospital building require better lighting.
My dad was admitted to sdh walking came out 7weeks later. Cant walk now thanks to the leaving him in bed all the time. Moved to 3 different wards only to catch covid.
Two visits to A&E and follow up care by Neuro team. You hear lots of bad things about the health service but I have had nothing but first class care and treatment all the way. Thanks to all and long live the NHS.
I was there almost 30 years ago for rehabilitation on my back, was told I would never drive a HGV again. Proved them wrong but therapy is to me is 5 Stars and taught me a lot on how to sit properly especially in HGV seat. Keep doing the great work that you do.

I was recently at the day surgery unit at Salisbury hospital, all the staff on the ward were friendly, I was well looked after from my arrival till discharge, couldn’t ask for better staff in a hospital
I was chaperoning someone at the eye clinic. Some of the staff were so rude! Wouldn’t offer me a chair to sit on and made me stand up waiting for over an hour. So I was basically leaving the person I was meant to chaperone alone because they wouldn’t let me sit with her!
Treated on bank holiday monday for a badly lacerated hand. Absolutely 1st class treatment by such professional and good humoured nurses and doctor, so grateful to you.
