Write a ReviewBeautiful university! I went here because of the Dragonball Z European Open Championship. The buildings are huge and just as you would imagine England. The cafeteria was great, with a kiosk that had fresh and warm bakery goods, as well as a …
Great Park Clean and Tidy. A playground for kids as well.
One of the universities in Manchester. The University of Salford. Well structured with modern design.
I haven’t been here,it was my son who did Media Arts after being at Hopwood Hall College,he then went onto Salford University and loved. He is now working at Hopwood Hall College doing what he loves, Theatre
I have studied at several universities in London at undergraduate and masters level. I would highly recommend this university. The psychology department with the teaching staffs has good diversity and extensive experience on their BACP …
DONT GO!!!. Worst uni ever Course was fully designed to screw students over. AVOID!!! At all costs. Such a poor university. No communication. No talking. Horrific lectures. Horrific management. Everything all wrong. One of my biggest regret in life was entering this university.
My new school, lovely and beautiful environment. Friendly staff and students, I am here to explore.
Studying at Salford university was one of the worst decisions I have made .It’s full on incompetent lectures , horrendous support systems. With that being mentioned they still expect the high quality work. The only thing this place will give …
This “university” is a stain on my CV that is incredibly hard to remove. I lost respect for my career in accounting after studying in this place. My best memory was when one of the senior lecturers in the final years said: “You guys will hate us for the rest of your lives because we did not teach you anything”.
Only visited to drop my son off, but this seems to be a really nice campus. There are plenty of very clean outdoor spaces, and the individual campus rooms are all en-suite. They are definitely compact, but they have a decent sized bed, and study area.
Question: is anyone else applying for a degree here through Robert Kennedy College? Online that is
I am graduate student from Salford University. MSc Accounting and Finance.
Excellent university ❤️
But very difficult and though in studies.
You cant just ignored it in studying, they really bring pressure on students.. …
Great environment to study. Good Uni and nice library. The lectures are friendly and helpful. There has e-library also. Can search the useful resource and information. Like it. ❤
Is the source of most of my stress, the health and social care courses are very unorganised, you find out placements the week before as they don’t have enough spaces for everyone and then they ask people to move their summer holiday that …
Good uni, very clean and safe building
As a recent graduate from the university, I am happy to give this university a 5-star rating. The facilities they offer, both on main campus and down at media city, are impeccable. …
So many students who study here and live in our block have been a nightmare in our block. Loads of them in one flat then they start drinking and smoking in the night and making excessive noise. They make me feel ill and effect my sleep. I …
Lots of friendly guys who are happy to chat to anyone
By far the worst uni ever! So unorganised and the lecturers don’t care about your work at all. Don’t waste your money or your time. That university is the reason I have mental health problems.
I studied here years ago, the best days of my life. I gained life experience, long lasting friendships, the opportunity to network with like minded people, I travelled and above all achieved the highest academic attainment possible . You …
Great University! The facilities are amazing and the lecturers are always really helpful. Also the atmosphere is great, full of international students, so you can meet people from all around the world! Wouldn’t study anywhere else 🙂
A fine university with quality of education and offering all modern facilities, prime location adjacent to city center.
Fantastic university to study at; the balance between practical and theory lectures was perfect, staff always went out of their way to help you and the course was insightful and invigorating. I had some superb times here and met some great people.
I would rate my education top notch in 2012 it has armed me for life. However, now it’s very hard to engage when trying to find out about courses, difficult to get a reference from and Tues don’t seem to really care. Personally it’s been a waste of time contacting them at all. I would have rated the opposite before though.
To date I have regretted the day I ever accepted a place at this university. My experience has been so negative, I would not recommend this university to anyone. …
I’m about to start my third year at Salford University and I’ve had a great time so far. The close-knit community creates a very homely atmosphere while out and about on campus and there’s nearly always something going on. Lectures and …
What a snobby bunch my daughter went for interview today and got told her work was great but told her because she didn’t manage to attend an open day she couldn’t get a place. If your like that I’m glad she isn’t coming to you. Well she …
Absolutely great. The lecturers were really helpful and supportive besides being really good. Had a really good learning experience, made some super friends… and yes you have to work hard and study too to keep up but learnt so much. Would …
I didn’t go to any lectures due to poor teaching and the fact lectures didn’t even turn up. Lived on campus which was expensive and awful. Only good thing about the university was the other students and the friends I made. Most of the staff …
This university was anything but helpful when my travel circumstances to the University changed. Also be aware there are many little regulations that will do you over. I wouldn’t recommend this Uniersity to anyone. I honestly wish I had left and gone elsewhere with all my mates at the end of my first year.
I was on the 2015 Physiotherapy course. There were a handful of lectures that were not following evidence based national guidelines best practice. I raised my concerns; the responses I received back from my lecturers made my decision to withdraw from the course as I could not trust the information they were delivering was up to date.
For the prices you pay, you expect more. One of our lectures was in a porta-cabin but this was a few yrs ago now. It has undergone a massive change, lots of new buildings and upgrades. The lecturers were ok, some exceptional others were regularly corrected by the students. The student atmosphere is good with alot of clubs to join.
The University of Salford itself as a campus is ok. However, the Counselling and Psychotherapy department has serious failings. Some members of staff do not understand diversity, one in particular, has made comments that could be considered …
Please do not go to this university, it has one of the highest complaints made in a university in the whole of the UK and now I understand. PLease do not waste your time, the teaching is diabolical, administration is joke and support is …
They inform me one month before moving to Manchester that the master I applied will not take place! They are very irresponsible. Thinks like that show the unprofessional character of this university! Business and money are the the things …
Just dropped my daughter off, fairly straightforward system. Shame she can’t live in for the 2nd year
Currently a second year student BA (Hons) Photography, amazing university with great industry links and opportunities. Situated in the heart of Manchester city centre, the University provides a comfortable balance of study experience along with city student life!
Excellent facilities for staff and students.
Some students are friendly and eager to learn but many are loud and disruptive. …
Extortionately overpriced studies in all areas. more than anything shocked me that they can not provide parking for all students/staff on campus even after 2 years of construction works… They’ve built a new building but no parking for …
I love studying at The University of Salford, I’ve been here for nearly 4 years. Fantastic personalised support from tutors, opportunities to grow within your field, and right in the heart of the city centre of Manchester but with a great campus feel.
Some lecturers are lovely, some just can’t be assed and don’t stick to the student charter agreed. Feedback is appalling and when confronted about it, the head of school simply backs up the lecturer. So many double standards, wouldn’t …
Classes are fine, thus there’s a huge gap between the students care and the doctors. On one of my modules I got an A in the first exam, thus I completed the second exam with reference to the first one as I thought I am doing the right thing …
Very conducive atmosphere and good for learning
Overall it’s alright but needs more staff as there is quite a delay in email responses etc.
Needs specially trained staff that could support students that are going through rough/hard phase in their life.
I was a student reading Business Studies in 2000. I found the student life fabulous. …
Son graduated yesterday so yea happy place😃😃😃 …
Brilliant university to study at, the staff always went above and beyond to help out and make the lectures as engaging as possible. I met some great people and learnt so much!
Awful place. Nobody cares about you, support from lecturers is terrible. Communication is horrendous and nursing placements are a nightmare at best, bullying culture on the wards and nobody does anything about it. Cohorts are way way too big.
Their administration team will cause massive problems for you, and you will be expected to realise and sort out these problems on your own. In my instance, I was overcharged for a course by £900 which I did not receive back because of …
As a journalism student, there really isn’t a better place to be studying at than the University of Salford. The university trains you to use world-class camera and radio equipment, giving you great experience before you step into the …
The University of Salford is a public university in Salford, Greater Manchester, England, 1 mile (1.6 kilometres) west of Manchester city centre. The Royal Technical Institute, Salford, which opened in 1896, became a College of Advanced …
I don’t go to this university because I’m still in high school in year 10 but I went to this uni for an English trip and we got shown around the campus to know what it’s like at that uni and stuff and what I got told and seen is amazing and …
While studying at Salford I completed work placements in China, Dubai and the UK. The University generously funded my travels to intern in Beijing and now I’m working in London in my chosen career path. The lecturers are excellent and to …
Throughout my education life I have learned many important factors, such as my time at University of Salford which I am currently studying Business Information Technology. The modules that I have learnt at University has given me valuable …
OFFLOADED my Granddaughter for three years, her mum says “Phew, thanks gor that! “. LOL. SERIOUSLY, just hope she does good, so pleased she EARNED the right to get here.
My Uni! Doing B.A English Language with foundation year, Professors & staff are amazing & helpful
It seems a few people have had bad experiences, but I think Salford is a great place to learn. I studied construction law, which is taught by high-caliber industry experienced lecturers. The modules are extremely challenging, but I learnt a great deal by completing them.
😃 …
Bad visa process of this university …totally time wastage…
Best experience of my life, couldn’t fault the three years I spent there (at MediaCityUK). For most people that hated it it’s probably because you didn’t try hard enough and blamed everyone but yourself.
Friendly staff, smart, self-motivated, keen to help and guide. Excellent research in niche areas, particularly by SURF Centre, part of the School for the Build Environment
My BEST decision was to gain my degree in Building Surveying at University of Salford, Simon McClean is fantastic at being the head of the course and creates an enjoyable, interactive, interesting study. The best move UoS did was to make …
Excellent University in Manchester. Friendly colleges and supportive staff.
Severe lack of teaching quality, the course I was coaxed into (CVG) was just a made up course so company.. I mean university can make their numbers up. Try not to forget this place is just another company looking for profit.
Citadel of learning with a serene environment.
Modern buildings and resources. …
You guys need to work on student support and maintenance of the university equipment.
Really believe I am being stalked by this uni. I think they are making an example out of me. And I will deal with this for the rest of my life. They will never be happy.
The university of Salford could not have provided me with a better experience of university life. The staff and students are friendly. The course was not that great though!
Excellent University. However the positions of some of the lecturers need shifting around as some seem out of their depth in terms of teaching the subject.
Best university in the world all the london universities are a waste of money.
The worst university ever particularly for international students, horrible experience with these people.
Good university, I enjoyed my time here but depends on your choose of Halls.
I studied Music which Salford is great at.
One of the best university to study from and well recognized.
Perfect….exceeded what I what I expected!
This is University has the gold standards for teaching and support under any condition. Speaking from my experience
Beautiful peel campus with good connection by bus and train! with peel park right around the corner.
Good uni
car park 4 quid a day ur havin a tin bath!! I did art, learned nothing, wasted time effort and money.. I wish i never bothered.
My studies were great at the University and since they have been fantastic in supporting me during my career.
