Write a ReviewClean, good café and very efficient in the interview my son attended here
This is the best place of education I have ever been. The teachers are very helpful and supportive. No wonder why City College has been ranked Number 1 in the South West to get a qualification you want.
Worst place to study. I applied for welding course level 2 and waited nearly two months for the class to start then I attended to my first class they said I wasn’t on the list and the lady who is in charge said I’m very sorry I haven’t seen your email. Now I have to wait a year for the next welding course
I joined in 2020 to do diploma in performing arts which was a 2 year course. Before i started i was told by a member of staff that its free because it was my first ever level 3 but then during the second year i had the admin telling me that …
I was hopeful when I joined city plymouth college, but was utterly disappointed with the college infustructure from the top down. I attended September 2022. I waited 6 months to do a plumbing NVQ Lvl 2 only to be kicked out by the safe …
I did a level 3 game development course here from 2020 to 2022 and it was rubbish. The course was really unorganized due to a lack of staff. It seemed the course was always a lower priority than the higher-level courses for game development …
This college is awful. I went there from Leeds, paying hundreds for accomodation. The lectureres on the journalism course bullied me out, so I was left with an accomadation bill, that I shouldn’t have had to pay as I was going back up …
Horrible!! I am a writer but they judged me by my appearance and didn’t listen to me properly. They said the City College did not have anything to do with literature!!!! They sent me sway!
I did a “games development” course at this college from 2020-2022 and it was horrible. In the first year, the majority of staff where lazy and would sit back and put on YouTube tutorials instead of actually teaching. Because of this no one …
Been attending self help group. Found the college very clean, spacious, flooded with natural light, and well signposted. Classrooms are well set out and not overcrowded with equipment or student table and chairs. Very impressed.
Really amazing team to work alongside, having met and photographed a group of successful current students and alumni, they were all confident in themselves, their futures and attributed a large part of this to their educational kickstart at City College Plymouth.
City College Plymouth provided me with an excellent quality of education, supporting my personal aspirations to reach my desired goal. Having studied at the college twice in the past decade, I have had the pleasure of witnessing the college …
It is a very comfortable place and the lectures are nice and always willing to help, not only the lecturers but the staffs too.
I enjoy the course and the staff are amazing
very poor bullying management from staff, not a nice environment for lgbtq+ pupils. something needs to be fixed by staff, would not recommend coming here.
I’m convinced there is a scandal going on in this college. Deliberately assessing people to be at a lower academic level than what people actually are, so people pay for the lower courses as well as the courses above the lower ones. I’m …
I had an excellent experience today with all the teachers.
It was an welcoming atmosphere that made me fell like home , can’t wait to start my function skills in English this month .
Thank you all the teachers for the attention and the support.
I’m really surprised at how the language courses work, and instead of allowing the student to progress faster, where the BKSB results show that the student has a total score of 1.6, underestimate and don’t allow faster progress and move it …
A very poorly run institution, Tutors seem to make up things as they go along. They do not give enough or the right information to students, resulting in students turning up at the wrong time or place or both. …
I had a tour of the Kings Road campus, and having been a teacher in my previous decade, I was wholeheartedly impressed with the educations facilities and teaching areas; it has everything. Inspiring décor and encouraging spaces that make …
If you suffer from depression or need help seeking support outside of college from ages 16 and over. Staff welcome too. Why not pop into the Jan Cutting Centre at the Health and Wellbeing at Scott Business Park Tuesdays and Fridays: 7:30pm …
Unfriendly people, who annoy me sometimes, I need to stop it now
Disgusting college would never ever recommend this college to anyone. Useless teachers who think they are able to dianose students with depression and are racist to other students. Teachers turn up late to lessons and then just sit there …
Very poor student behaviour to other pupils.
Do not recommend.
Nice college with good cheap food and the class I was in had a friendly teacher who made you feel comfortable and taught you exactly what you needed to know to pass the course.
NEGATIVE!! Poor content on my Fda. Poor communication. Applied for GCSE Maths… was told to wait for enrolment date… never heard anything. Unprofessional tutor. Avoid this college.

A good College. This is one of many sites owned by City College Plymouth. Formally the CFE. One of the top ten educational establishments in the City.
Clean and modern. A Educational hub for many potential future careers.
Lovely walk around, staff were really nice and helpful.
Great tutors. Learnt so much on my Foundation Degree course. Highly recommended.
Really disappointed with inclusion. My daughter was actively discouraged from attending due to her disability.
